As the highly anticipated 5.1 patch approaches in Genshin Impact, many players are eager to learn about the new five-star characters and their potential synergies. This guide focuses on Xilonen and examines which existing characters she pairs best with, helping you decide whether to pull for her.

Xilonen is generating excitement among players, but with the ever-evolving meta, selecting the right characters can be challenging. Understanding how Xilonen fits into existing team compositions is essential for optimizing your gameplay.

Evaluating Character Synergies

When considering Xilonen, think about how she can enhance your current team. It's vital to build strong teams around your favorite characters rather than simply chasing new ones. By providing very strong healing she may open up useful Furina teams, and her buffing makes her a solid to amazing pick for any DPS of the Pyro, Electro, Cryo, Hydro, or Geo element. Team building does require you have 2 of the crystalizable element characters on the team, so mono geo teams won't work.

Neuvillette, Arlecchino, Mualani, Navia, and Hu Tao all may get decent to sizable upgrades with Xilonen.

As a healer, she will be a great partner for many Furina teams. And as a buffer and debuffer, she has huge potential with a variety of characters. She also has possabilities for being a DPS herself.

Chiori is has one of my favourite designs in all of Genshin Impact, but her current synergies may not justify pulling for her right now. This guide will help you decide whether Chiori is worth adding to your roster based on her team compatibility and overall performance.

1. Current Synergies Construct Dependency: Chiori requires a construct to function optimally at C0. Without one, her effectiveness is significantly reduced. Geo Team Requirements: At C1, she can create more diverse team setups by pairing with another Geo character, enhancing her overall potential.
2. Best Team Compositions Zhongli Teams: Chiori can serve as a solid option in Zhongli teams, though she may not be the top choice compared to other characters. Kachina: Pairing Chiori with Kachina forms a decently strong core for a team. Between Chiori's good off field damage and Kachina's great buffing from the Natlan artifact set, it's a solid choice.
3. Alternative Options Chiori is currently considered a best-in-slot option for Itto, making her valuable if you play this character. There are some thoughts on Xilonen enabling some unconventional Itto teams, but this is untested as of yet. Navia: Previously a top choice for Navia, Chiori's status has diminished with the arrival of new characters. Other Characters: She pairs reasonably well with some characters like Yelan and Wanderer, though not in a top-tier capacity.
4. Final Thoughts Chiori’s design may appeal to many players, but her current synergies are not the strongest in the game. If you enjoy her character and design, pulling for her could be worthwhile, but if you're looking for meta-relevant characters, it might be better to wait for future updates that may enhance her synergies.
