Genshin Impact 5.2 "surpasses itself" by buffing a series of weak reactions, improving gameplay

Genshin Impact version 5.2 not only brings Chasca and Ororon, but also greatly improves the gameplay of the game by buffing a series of "out meta" reactions, and making a series of other changes that improve the quality of our experience.

Genshin Impact 5.2 buffs weak reactions

Since version 1.0, Genshin Impact gamers have only focused on familiar "meta" reactions revolving around the Fire, Ice, and Water systems, and when patch 3.0 was released, it added Surging and Blooming. This makes Genshin Impact's gameplay very limited as only characters who can consistently trigger these reactions are considered strong.

This will change somewhat when we come to Genshin Impact 5.2. This version will see a series of different reactions with buffed base damage stats , giving gamers more options when playing. Specifically as follows:

  • Superconductivity: 0.5 to 1.5
  • Ice Breaker: 1.5 to 3
  • Inductance: 1.2 to 2
  • Overload: 2 to 2.75 For example, with Overload, the damage of this reaction is calculated by the simple formula 2 x level multiplier – which is 2893.71 at level 90. Before the buff, each Overload dealt 5787.42 damage, after the buff it would be 7957.7 (not including the monster's Fire resistance).

These buffs apply to both the player's character and the enemy, so not only will we be stronger, but the monsters will also become more dangerous. The Sanctified monsters and the Abyssal Apostles will definitely give gamers a headache when they return in the La Hoan Tham Canh.

However, this reaction buff doesn't seem to help much for Physical damage characters like Eula or Freminet, because it only improves Ice Break and Superconductivity but doesn't buff Physical damage or the character's own stats. But maybe we'll be able to play Ice Break Eula more effectively because this reaction now has the same base damage as Bloom.

A series of gameplay improvements in Genshin Impact 5.2

Version 5.2 will also have many gameplay upgrades, not confirmed by HoYoverse but some have been found in the game client, others come from leakers. Specifically, the features that will appear in patch 5.2 are as follows:

  • Natlan Fishing Association is open. Players will be able to go fishing in Natlan and exchange for new gifts.
  • A bunch of optimizations and changes to the controller tutorial, as the Xbox version of Genshin Impact is coming soon.
  • PlayStation controller will get additional vibration settings and changes to gyro controls.
  • The Treasure Finder can now even point to the location of Fairies and challenges, not just limited to chests.

Treasure Compass will be able to lead you to the Fairy Spirit and challenge.

  • Added many new filters for furniture sets in Am Tran Ca.
  • Added a feature to summarize previous Demon God quests when players receive a new Demon God quest.
  • When selecting a weapon at level 30 in the Journey Log, the interface will let the player know whether they already have that item or not.
  • Added new relic marker feature.
  • The auto-lock feature for holy relics will have major changes, details will be announced later.
  • PC gamers can only allow other PC gamers to co-op / enter their Am Tran Ca.
  • Fantasy Theater allows you to go directly to the next stage without returning to the waiting room.
  • Added the ability to review your performance in the Theater.
  • The Seven Holy Summons adds the ability to choose effects for new characters.

Features coming later, probably in 5.x:

There is expected to be a new leyline flower for weapon materials. Allows hot swapping of the handle. The Seven Summoners allows cross-play to be enabled/disabled, but only for PS and Xbox.
