Arlecchino, a 5-star Pyro Polearm character in Genshin Impact, excels in on-field damage by enhancing her attacks with a unique Bond of Life mechanic. This quick guide covers Arlecchino’s optimal builds, top weapons, best artifacts, and ideal team compositions.
Arlecchino’s signature weapon excels in both combat performance and style, ranking well above all other options.
This set synergizes exceptionally well with Arlecchino’s Bond of Life–oriented playstyle. However, it is currently not a great option for other characters and is paired with another niche set (Unfinished Reverie), making it relatively Resin-inefficient.
This set provides a significant buff when fighting against Burning enemies. However, the high damage dealt to the on-field character when contacting Burning enemies is detrimental to Arlecchino’s already limited survivability.
On-Field DPS
Arlecchino’s playstyle centers on the high-risk, high-reward mechanics of her Bond of Life. She boasts excellent damage potential, particularly if her Burst's healing is eschewed, yet she relies solely on her Burst for healing during combat, making her reliant on defensive teammates.
Initiating combat, Arlecchino marks enemies with her Skill before switching to other teammates, letting the marks inflict damage while she's off-field. Upon her return, she clears marks with Charged Attacks to gain a Bond of Life, enhancing her Normal Attacks and converting them to Pyro. This Bond of Life gradually depletes as she attacks. The Pyro Conversion and Bond of Life persist through swapping, offering versatility in rotations.
PROS:
- High personal damage that isn’t reliant on specific combos
- Flexible team building and rotations
- Not reliant on her Burst to deal damage
- Good early Constellations that front-load her damage
- Controlled off-field Pyro application helps with buff setups
CONS:
- Cannot rely on healers for survivability; personal healing is tied to a fairly high-cost Burst
- Vulnerable to interruption at C0
- Noticeable performance gap between her signature weapon and other weapons, particularly free ones
TEAMBUILDING!:
Arlecchino’s potent damage scaling encourages the incorporation of buffers to significantly amplify her personal damage output. Off-field damage dealers contribute further to the team's effectiveness by unleashing their own damage and facilitating reactions like Vaporize and Melt for Arlecchino. Given her reliance on her Burst for healing and the absence of healers, teams must either employ shielders or units with comparable defensive capabilities to enhance survivability, albeit potentially reducing overall team damage output. Alternatively, Arlecchino's teams can prioritize offense, relying on evasion tactics and her Burst's healing for sustenance. In exchange, her formidable damage output often leads to swifter engagements. Notably, Arlecchino’s Pyro Conversion persists across character swaps, offering situational advantages. For instance, players can switch to Kazuha to regroup enemies before continuing Arlecchino’s combo.
