Everything needed for Imaginarium Theater
Example (November 2024 Theater)
If you take more above the minimum required characters, you can get more stats. Since a friend's character can be used, you will always be one above minimum
- 1: Very tough (I had to plan every single move and variable)
- 2: Tough (I had to think a bit but nothing much)
- 3: Easy (I blindly followed my own guide)
- 4: Sleepy (I feel like I went through it blindfolded)
Let's consider Number 1 our scenario
- Check Picture 1 and 2 (Remove Kuki and Yanfei)
- To be able to beat IT, the following plan needed to be followed:
- Act 10: Raiden Chevreuse Xiangling Bennett
- Act 9: Arlecchino Filler Filler Filler
- Act 8: Arlecchino Filler Filler Filler
- Act 7: Raiden Chevreuse Xiangling Bennett
- Act 6: Nahida Tighnari Filler Filler
- Act 5: Yae Miko Fischl Nahida Tighnari
- Act 4: 4 Fillers
- Act 3: Yae Miko Fischl Filler Filler
- Act 2: Klee Keqing Filler Filler
- Act 1: Klee Filler Filler Filler
This is the most ideal scenario where you only need one team and 3 damage dealers (3 trial dps too). Do not forget to pick up buffs and free mystery caches along the way. Let us walk through what happened;
- The idea to use Klee only is to throw away fillers at the beginning to save built characters for later acts. Since you can always reset until you get lava rocks, this strategy is very consistent. I recommend picking 1 or 2 of your own fillers. You can also pick buffs to help you in early acts, I picked Overload buff as it helped me the most and it also helps in later acts
- Sometimes using your Act 1 DPS is enough, other times you simply need to buy buffs once or twice, and sometimes you need to add buffs and a character or even use a big dps with big numbers. I took the example of Keqing since everyone can lose their 50/50 to her. It is ok if you use one of the trial or your dps with your Act1 DPS for now.
- This act is where the first boss appears, since this boss is somewhat weaker to Electro, I picked Fischl and Yae Miko. This is the time when you use 2 or 3 dps (understand the boss weak points to take advantage of it)
- This is a defence act, I recommend refreshing until you get either emirates or the solo ruin guard. For emirates, you need something to stun or freeze them, there will always be only 2 on field. The ruin guard is whatever. This is where your fillers might need something specific
- If you used quite a bit of dps, pick the enemies that suit your current DPS character. Make sure to avoid elemental and wave checks, if you lack a full team. I gave the example of Tighnari Yae Fischl Nahida for the worst case scenario but you can save some for the next Act which is another boss act
- I was confident having 2 dps that work against this boss' weakness was enough, so I only saved Nahida and Tighnari. This is where Dendro and Pyro Filler work well too. If you saved characters from Act 5, then use those too, as this will be the last very hard act
- At this point, I had Overload lvl 3 buff which helped me fill in the gap of another dps in niche scenarios. In this IT, Quicken buff would also work, choose depending on your roster. I was lucky to get the scorpion and vulture. Those are the easiest since there are only 2 and no multiwave. These 2 are also the perfect oponnent if you needed to use more damage dealers in previous acts
- I chose my C6 Friend Character for this act specifically because this boss is very time consuming. It is also important to note that 3 fillers are needed. Synergistic characters with your C6 character or buff can also help in emergencies
- I also saved my C6 Friend Character for this act, as my Raiden Team could easily beat Act 10. I wanted to save my strong character for something unexpected
- Lastly, I used my Raiden Xiangling Chevreuse Bennett for this act since it counters cryo shield quite well
A worse case scenario
- Act 1: Klee Filler Filler Filler
- Act 2: Klee Keqing Yae Miko Filler (Overload Buff lvl 1)
- Act 3: Yae Miko Fischl ElectroFiller PyroFiller (Overload Buff lvl 2)
- Act 4: HydroFiller CryoFiller Filler Filler
- Act 5: Fischl Nahida Tighnari Keqing
- Act 6: Nahida Tighnari DendroFiller PyroFiller
- Act 7: Arlecchino (Raiden Team is not ready & Xingqiu in this act can replace chevreuse)
- Act 8: Arlecchino Fillerx3/Raiden Xiangling Chevreuse Bennett (Overload Buff lvl 4)
- Act 9: Arlecchino Fillerx3/Raiden Xiangling Chevreuse Bennett
- Act 10: Arlecchino Fillerx3/Raiden Xiangling Chevreuse Bennett (Xingqiu not recommended)

What is Imaginarium Theater?
Imaginarium Theater is an endgame mode that promotes horizontal investment (investing in multiple characters).
To unlock Imaginarium Theater, the player must reach Adventure Rank 35 and complete the World Quest Unbegun, Unending Story. This quest will pop up once AR 35 is reached, so simply follow it and you will automatically unlock it.
Imaginarium Theater is divided into 4 difficulties.
Each difficulty has its requirements to be able to enter. Each season also has its own elemental restriction with some exceptions. Additionally, It resets on the first day of each month
Easy Mode
- Requires a min. of eight lvl 60 characters
Normal Mode
- Requires a min. of twelve lvl 60 characters
Hard Mode
- Requires a min. of sixteen lvl 70 characters
Visionary Mode (Required for all the primogems offered)
- Requires a min. of twenty-two lvl 70 characters
Once the requirement is met. You are sent to a screen with Trial Characters.
These characters are what you will get no matter if you have built them or not. You can choose between Trial Versions or your own. These 6 characters always meet the elemental check of the season.
These 6 characters, also called Opening Characters/Principal Cast, are the starting characters you use.
Once you have chosen your Principal Cast , it is time to choose the Alternate Cast. It consists of Special Guest Stars, Available Characters and Supporting Cast.
- Special Guest Stars are the ones that are not restricted by the elements of the season but still have the level check (you have to have them)
- Available Characters consists of characters you have that meet the elemental and level check
- Supporting Cast is the one character you can invite from your friends
The Alternate Cast can only be gained through certain means
Note 1: As long as you do not switch your friend's character, you can use that one character for the entire season Note 2: Additional quantity of character up to 4 (up to 2 in lower difficulty) will increase the stats of everyone
Finally, the true game starts. We start with, what I call, the preparation phase
In the preparation phase, you are given 4 cards. These are the following options:
- Adding a Companion (Adding a character from Alternate Cast to Principal Cast)
- Adding an Origin (Buffs towards reaction)
- Mystery Cache (You gain some interesting stuff from those)
- Battle (If you chose this, you start the fight)
Note 1: You cannot go back to preparation phase once the battle starts
Note 2: Each card consumes Fantasia Flowers (currency) except for Battle Card adding Flowers
