The MOST important thing is to get characters you love. Whether that be for design, gameplay, or meta. Make sure to sufficiantly test the characters in their trial before wishing for them, and learn what teammate synergies they have, to make sure it works with what you want to use and play.

#Chasca: TBD. She's looking super fun and probably strong, but more testing is required before recommendations can be made.

#Lyney: One of the strongest damage dealers at his peak. He has a tricky playstyle however, so make sure you like using him before you get him.

#Zhongli: Although not usually a peak damage option, he is an extremely popular choice for casual, mobile, or players that just want to have comfy consistent clears and keep their sanity. If you don't like to sweat and reset, consider Zhongli for your account.

#Neuvillette: The overall best DPS in the game. Some of the highest damage and incredibly consistent and comfortable to use. Make sure you enjoy his playstyle, and do NOT feel pressured to get him if you don't like him. There are PLENTY of strong DPS', and many can even outperform him if played right. It's MUCH more important to pick a DPS you enjoy and like than the overall "best" one.
