Why make an Aurora Guide so quick?
I made this guide so people don't go in the wrong directions and build the wrong items and use the wrong runes. This guide will also teach combos for Aurora while also giving playstyle ideas. One thing noting is that she's a mage that can be played both Top and Mid. She's ofc ranged but gets outranged by most mages in the game. This is the reason she doesn't fit the support style.

1. Hail of Blades
- Best rune in early game and uses her passive perfectly.
1.1. Sudden Impact
- Nothing more to say than that she has a lot of dashes and stealth making her a perfect user of this rune.
1.2. Eyeball Collector
- Gaining Adaptive force ( AP ) synergizes really well with her high scalings and her passive dealing max health damage based of her total AP. 6% Max Health Damage that scales with 0.01% AP meaning if you have 100 AP you gain 1% more Max Health Damage on her Passive.
1.3. Ultimate Hunter
- Ultimate Hunter is just way too good on Aurora. You gain a total of 31 Ult Haste which enhances Aurora's usability by a fuck ton. Aurora's ult is so good that using Ultimate Hunter is really necessary.
2. Precision
- Aurora uses Movement speed and scalings really well meaning Sorcery is a perfect 2nd rune path for her.
2.1. Presence of Mind
- POM is really good with Aurora cause of the mana usage. With this rune you can use much more abilities and play like an actual bruiser. Really good overall rune. Absorb Life got nerfed meaning POM is better right now for her.
2.2. Cutdown
- Cutdown is just the most broken rune in the game. Does so much damage shreds people down really fast. And it even aplifies the total damage meaning the enemy champ you attack can deal 8% more damage even if the damage goes below their 50% health ratio. This only works when the initial attack/ability hit the target when it was above 50% health.
3. Shards
- Attack Speed for the Passive
- Adaptive Force for the Passive
- Health for early game since she doesn't have that strong of an early game mid but you could go scaling health if you have a really easy matchup.
Now let's get to the best items Aurora can use for each rune-set we just made. ( Read Description )
1. Starter Items
- Doran's Ring I have tested Doran's Blade but she needs the mana regen in early game so I couldn't get a fit for Doran's Blade.
- Health Potion x2 For early sustain.
2. Early Buys
- Dark Seal For maximizing damage and getting early as possible stacks for Mejai's.
- Refillable Only in need against hard matchups like Leblanc, Tristana, Corki, Ashe & etc.
- Amp Tome For getting first item as fast as possible.
3. Boots
- Sorcs if you can handle the CC enemy have.
- Mercs if there's too much CC on enemy team.
4. Main Build
- Luden's Companion It's the highest damage mana item in the game making her use it really well. Aurora is a burst champion which makes her really great for using this. ( Malignance and Blackfire Torch are not that great on Aurora cause of her not being jungle and her abilities being so strong outside of ult making her have more usage for Luden's. )
- Lich Bane Also the best item for her passive becuse of what she can do with combos. You could time her passive so that her Passive and Lich Bane procs at the same auto attack. This is the reason why Lich Bane suits Aurora so well.
- Rabadon's Deathcap Maximizing Damage and Passive Scaling.
- Zhonya's Hourglass Really good into the ADC meta and also high survivability with stasis when you do a mistake or are against a fed enemy
- Void Staff Maximizing Damage to the top with % magic pen that does well with her passive and also shreds tanks.
5. Situational Items
- Mejai's If you think you will keep the Dark Seal/Mejai Stacks through the game.
- Liandry's Only facing health stacking champs.
- Banshee's If facing CC champs that uses point & click spells or has a very large projectile hitbox.
- Morellonomicon Very good against champs that heal for a big amount. ( Antihealing )

The best combo usage for Aurora's kit
- Normal Combo: AA -> AA -> Q1 -> AAP -> E -> Q2
- Engage Combo: AA -> AA -> W -> Q1 -> AAP -> E -> Q2
- Escape Combo: AA -> AA -> Q1 -> AAP -> E -> W -> Q2
- (For the Escape Combo you NEED to buffed W right after hitting E because if you don't the W will be locked)
