⚡ New Monetization Policy (Starting Now!)
This just started and will be reflected on the balance update of April.
Until now, we’ve been covering extra payouts from our treasury, since we counted every view—even those with ad blockers or views that ad providers didn’t pay for due to being too short.
As mentioned above, we’ve always said we give back 100% of ad revenue, but in reality, it was closer to ~150% due to these unpaid views.
To make earnings fairer, more sustainable, and truly aligned with 100% ad revenue sharing, Creator Compensation will now be based on Monetized Views.
A Monetized View happens when:
- ✅ A valid ad is shown (no ad blockers).
- ✅ A user engages—like staying on the page long enough for ads to load or interacting with the content in any way.
This ensures all earnings are closer to the actual ad revenue generated, making the platform stronger for creators, advertisers, and the community as a whole.
