4. Tactician’s Crown Starting Lobbies
All 40 players will be assigned to their initial starting lobbies based upon a snake draft selection process outlined below.
a. There will be 5 total lobbies, consisting of 8 players each.
b. The first player in each lobby will be:
- The 1st seed from each pan-region will be randomly assigned to a lobby (AMER1, APAC1, CN1, EMEA1).
- The previous Set winner OR the 2nd seed from the winning pan-region of the previous Tactician’s Crown.
c. Snake draft selection process:
- Once the starting players are determined for each lobby, the initial pick order will be randomly assigned. Each player will choose one player from the remaining player pool to be placed in their lobby.
- Each player that is picked will then pick the next player for their lobby.
- This process will continue until all lobbies are filled. Ex.: In a given lobby, Player 1 will choose Player 2, Player 2 will choose Player 3, and so on.
d. Draft pick rules:
- The first 4 players from each lobby must all be from different pan-regions.
- There can be no more than 3 players from a pan-region in each lobby.
- Any player can be chosen to a lobby regardless of their initial seed.
