Video Guide:
Silver Soldier Anby is an S-Rank Electric character who wields the Attack W-Engine Type. Anby is a versatile combatant, excelling in both close-range melee combat and mid-range engagements. Her adaptability makes her a valuable addition to any team, capable of handling various combat scenarios with precision and efficiency.
Anby’s Basic Attack:
Let’s break down Anby’s basic attack arsenal. Her primary basic attack, Volt Rush, serves as the foundation of her combat style. Anby performs up to four rapid slashes forward, dealing Electric Damage. Each hit charges Mark, a unique mechanic that enhances her combat potential. This attack is best used at close range against single targets, allowing her to build up Mark stacks for follow-up attacks.
Anby’s Special Mechanic, Mark:
Anby’s combat revolves around the Mark mechanic. When her attacks hit an enemy without Mark, they gain Mark. Attacking enemies with Mark charges it, up to a maximum of three stacks. Enemies with three stacks gain an activated Mark, enabling Anby to unleash her Special Attack: Azure Light. Using Azure Light consumes one stack of the activated Mark and deals additional Electric Damage, which is considered Follow-Up Attack Damage. This mechanic rewards strategic play, as managing Mark stacks is key to maximizing Anby’s damage output.
Anby’s Special Attack:
Azure Light is a powerful tool in her arsenal. When an enemy’s Mark is activated, Anby can dash forward and perform a swift slash, passing through enemies and dealing Electric Damage. Hitting an enemy consumes one Mark stack and triggers an additional instance of damage. If the target still has activated Mark, this skill can be repeated until all stacks are consumed.
Her Enhanced Special Attack: Azure Thunder Slash takes this a step further. By holding the skill button, Anby throws her twin blades forward, performing rapid slashes that deal massive Electric Damage and quickly charge Mark. This move is ideal for dealing with groups of enemies or finishing off high-priority targets.
Anby’s Dodge:
Dodging is a crucial aspect of Anby’s mobility and defense. Her Dodge: Slide Step allows her to quickly evade incoming attacks, gaining invincibility during the move. During a dodge, Anby can perform a Dash Attack: Arc Slash, slashing and thrusting forward to deal Electric Damage. This move is perfect for maintaining pressure on enemies while repositioning. After a Perfect Dodge, Anby can execute Dodge Counter: Thunderclap, a series of rapid slashes that deal heavy Electric Damage. Proper timing is essential to maximize the damage and invincibility frames of this counterattack.
Anby’s Chain Attack:
Electromagnetic Engine is a coordinated team attack that deals massive Electric Damage to enemies ahead. This move is particularly effective when combined with her Mark mechanic, as it can quickly charge or consume Mark stacks for additional damage.
Her Ultimate Skill: Overload Engine is a devastating area-of-effect attack. When her Resonance Level reaches Extreme, Anby performs a powerful series of slashes followed by a plunging attack, dealing massive Electric Damage and applying activated Mark to all hit enemies. This move is ideal for clearing groups of enemies or dealing with high-health targets.
Anby’s Core Passive: Fluctuating Voltage enhances her damage output against enemies with Mark. She deals twenty percent more Damage to marked enemies, and when any team member hits a marked enemy with a Follow-Up Attack, their Critical Damage is increased by thirty percent of Anby’s Critical Damage.
Her Additional Ability: Parallel Circuit further boosts her team’s effectiveness. When an Attack character or a character of the same faction is present, team members deal fifteen percent more Stagger Damage to enemies with Mark.
Anby’s Quick Assist: Thunderfall allows her to quickly assist an ally by performing consecutive slashes on enemies ahead, dealing Electric Damage. This move is perfect for interrupting enemy attacks or setting up combos.
Her Defensive Assist: Lightning Flash enables her to parry incoming attacks, accumulating Stagger value and protecting her team. After a successful parry, she can follow up with Assist Follow-up: Spinning Lightning, a powerful series of slashes that deal Electric Damage to a wide area.
For Anby’s ability level priority, first level her special attack, second level her basic attack, third level her chain attack, fourth level her dodge, and lastly level her assist.
For those aiming to optimize Anby's performance in endgame content, here's a breakdown of her recommended stats at level sixty. Attack should be three thousand four hundred, H.P. should be ten thousand, defense should be eight hundred, critical rate should be eighty percent, and critical damage should be more than two hundred percent.
Anby’s Signature W-Engine, Sacrifice Purity, has a forty-eight percent critical damage substat. Critical damage is increased by forty percent. When Anby launches a Basic Attack , Special Attack, or Additional Attack to hit the enemy, she can gain one layer of benefit effect, respectively. Each layer of benefit effect increases Anby's critical damage by an additional ten percent. Up to three layers are stacked, and it lasts for thirty seconds. The duration of each layer of effect is calculated separately, and it can be triggered at most once in the same move. When there are three layers of benefit effect, Anby's electric attribute damage is increased by twenty percent.
Anby’s Mindscape Cinema enhances her abilities and provides unique bonuses:
Mindscape Cinema One, Fast Charge Mode: Anby Gains Additional Resonance Points When Dealing Follow-Up Attack Damage. After using her Ultimate Skill, she gains six stacks of charge, which can be consumed to enhance Special Attack: Azure Light.
If you have enough pulls to either get Anby’s Mindscape Cinema One or her Signature W-Engine. I would recommend pulling Anby’s Signature W-Engine because it provides a lot of critical damage, making her deal a lot more damage than her Mindscape Cinema One.
Mindscape Cinema Two, Precision Discharge: Increases Follow-Up Attack Damage by forty percent. Enhanced Special Attacks, Chain Skills, and Ultimate Skills consume all activated Mark stacks, dealing additional damage based on the number of stacks.
Mindscape Cinema Three, Well-Trained: Increases the skill level of Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist Skill, Special Attack, and Chain Skill by two.
Mindscape Cinema Four, Charge Conduction: Anby’s Damage to enemies with activated Mark ignores fifteen percent of their Electric Damage Resistance.
Mindscape Cinema Five, Street Experience: Further increases the skill level of Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist Skill, Special Attack, and Chain Skill by two.
Mindscape Cinema Six, Charged Field: Consuming six stacks of activated Mark triggers an electromagnetic vortex, dealing massive A.O.E. Electric Damage.
If you are a dolphin, I would recommend stopping at Mindscape Cinema Two because it increases her damage by a lot more. However, if you can afford it, Mindscape Cinema Four is great because Anby ignores Electric Damage Resistance.
If you have Harumasa’s S-Rank signature w-engine, Zanshin Herb Case, you can use that. It increases critical rate and dash attack electric damage.
A S-Rank standard gacha W-Engine that Anby can use is The Brimstone, Soldier Eleven’s signature W-Engine. Anby’s attack increases when hitting an enemy with a basic attack, dash attack, or dodge counter.
A battle pass A-Rank W-Engine that Anby can use is Cannon Rotor. It increases Anby’s attack. Anby’s attacks that land a crit on an enemy will inflict an additional percentage of attack as damage.
A gacha A-Rank W-Engine that Anby can use is Starlight Engine. Anby’s attack increases when using a dodge counter or quick assist.
A free-to-play event A-Rank W-Engine that Anby can use is Marcato Desire. It increases Anby’s attack when using her EX Special Attack or Chain Attack.
A free-to-play B-Rank W-Engine that Anby can use is Decrescent. Launching her Chain Attack or Ultimate increases Anby's damage by fifteen percent.
For Anby’s optimal Drive Disk set, use a four-piece set of Thunder Metal. Its two-piece set effect increases electric damage. Its four-piece set effect increases Anby’s attack as long as the enemy is shocked. Thunder Metal is the best set assuming you can always keep the enemy shocked, which requires at least one other electric character like Trigger.
An alternative four-piece set that Anby can use is Woodpecker Electro. Its two-piece set effect increases critical rate. Its four-piece set effect increases Anby’s attack if she triggers a critical hit with either her basic attack, dodge counter, or EX Special Attack. Woodpecker Electro is better than Thunder Metal, assuming you cannot maintain a high shock uptime or do not have more than one electric character on your team.
Otherwise, you can use a two-piece set combination of Woodpecker Electro and Thunder Metal.
There is a new drive disk set that might be good for Anby. Its two-piece set effect increases additional attack and dash attack damage. Its four-piece set effect provides Anby with a buff when an additional attack or dash attack hits an opponent. The buff increases Anby’s attack and critical rate up to four stacks.
For Drive Disk four, use a critical rate main stat if you do not have Anby’s signature w-engine. For Drive Disk five, use an electric damage percent main stat. For Drive Disk six, use an attack percent main stat.
For drive disk substats prioritization, prioritize Critical Rate, if you do not have Anby’s signature W-Engine, then Critical Damage, then prioritize Attack Percent, and lastly either Penetration or Flat Attack.
Choosing the right Bangboo can significantly enhance Anby’s performance based on your team setup.
A S-Rank Bangboo that Anby can use is Plugboo, assuming you have two or more electric characters in your team. Bangboo Chain Attack inflicts more Anomaly Buildup. Plugboo deals electric damage and accumulates electric anomaly buildup.
An A-Rank Bangboo that Anby can use is Electroboo who has the same requirement as Plugboo and does the same thing as Plugboo but with forty percent less Anomaly Buildup.
Anby’s best team is herself, Trigger, and Astra Yao. An alternate premium team would be Anby, Qingyi, and Caesar. Another team is Anby, Grace, and Lucy. A free-to-play team is Silver Soldier Anby, Cunning Hares Anby, and Nicole, assuming that both the Anbys can be played on the same team.
I go over a guide to Trigger next.
