Sigweinne is the new Hydro 5 star that released a few days ago and has gotten some negative backlash from the community as one of the wrost characters to have released, in this discussion I'll delve more into Sigweinne and explain her kit, builds and what her potential is and why she's not as bad as people make it out to be.
What is her role?
Sigweinne is a hydro healer who can heal the entire party teamwide similarly to Baizhu and Xianyun, from a healing standpoint she's one of the best out there.
Using her skill she creates this bubble that hits enemies 5 times, each bounce of the skill can heal the entire party except for Sigweinne, once the bubble expires Sigweinne will heal for 50% of her max HP. Her skill also drops 2 water source droplets that when picked up gives Sigweinne 10% bond of life, for each 2k bond of life removed will regenerate 1 energy up to 5 energy at max.
Her burst deals hydro damage periodically for 2.5 seconds while having unlimited interruption to resistance.
for her first ascension passive when she unleashes her skill she will gain 8% hydro damage bonus, and 10 stacks of convalescence this stacks will buff off field skill damage of party allies based on Sigweinne max HP above 30k capping at 65k of her max HP. every 1000 HP will increase it by 80 damage.
for her first ascension passive her healing is increased based on the total amount of bond of life the team has (including herself) for each bond of life she gains 3% healing bonus maxing at 30%.

Why people think she's bad
It's by no one surprise that hydro is the best element in Genshin being the core of many reactions. this means that her expectations are bound to be high, and also due to the fact that she's a fontaine chartacter which are one of the best chacters out there. her role as a hydro healer is already consolidated by Barbara and Kokomi so for players that have them and invested in them getting another hydro healer may not be worth. For a hydro character her hydro application is relatively low, 3 instances of hydro application from her skill against one enemy on an 18 second cooldown, and her burst applies hydro twice. her skill damage buff provided from her A4 is shared across the whole team meaning that they run out quite quickly
Where I think Sigweinne potential is at
her kit indicates how she has innate synergy with Furina, being hydro, buffing off field skill damage and teamwide healing which are all things Furina wants, hence i believe that what Sigweinne provides is a second hydro core that you can slap on any team; for example the pyro core consists of bennet and Xiangling, the bloom core consists of Nilou and Nahida, the double hydro core consists of yelan and Xinqiu, the geo core cosnsists of Zhongli and Chiori, what Sigweinne provides is something similar where she will consolidate everything Furina needs and enbling you to run whatever you want.
From her vertical investmement standpoint she's one of the best healers to have that, her C1 gives more hydro application, buff the skill damage buff to 18 instances and the damage buff. Her C2 provides a sheild to Sigweinne and more importnatly decreases hydro res by 35% when she uses her skill or burst which is massive, her C4 buffs the duration of the burst by 3 seconds making it 5.5 and her C6 greatly increases her damage output by buffing her Crit rate and crit damage when she uses her burst.
if you like the quickswap teams you will not be disspointed with her, an example could be Navia, Chiori, Furina and Sigweinne Navia can be used as a quickswap unit whre you use her burst and skill, Chiori can be used on field for 4 seconds and likewise for Sigweinne where you can her skill and burst and then fill up the remianing of the remaining rotation time with Navia and repeat, by any means those are not the best teams but something that you can use to have fun and still be able to comfortably 36 star the abyss.
