Intro
Amber is a 4-star pyro character Main DPS using a bow. Her main source of damage is her charged attacks in Melt teams, but let's go over her weapons, artifacts and other stuff. This is a relatively quick guide as I don't have the motivation to write a in-depth guide on Amber or any character :)
Recommended Weapons
Let's see a few options (Keep in mind these are only 5 options chose and there are loads more that can be used)

Polar star is a great stat stick to increase Amber's Crit Rate. Although the passive is hard to get reliably since the bow is Childe's signature who can get it quite easily as his melee style produced by his Elemental Skill hits rapidly, the 33.1% Crit Rate buff at Lv. 90 isn't bad enough to not consider it.

Aqua Simulacra is a great weapon on any chaacter, Amber being no exeption. Even if Amber can't take advantage of the HP increase, the 20% DMG buff great and this bow is even better considering the 88.2% Crit Damage at Lv. 90.

Hamayumi is perfect for providing CA and NA buffs and since you will only be using your burst in rare cases (i.e. breaking Abyss Mage shields faster or to finish off enemies), the CA and NA buff is doubled. It's one of her best F2P weapons but it can be annoying to get as you need to open a chest daily for 7 days.

Ibis Piercer is another great weapon for Amber and can give her 80 EM when the passive is maxed out. Unfortunately, it was locked behind an event (3.7) and if you didn't participate in this like me, than you can't get it anymore.

Slingshot is a classic 3 Star bow and can rival a lot of 5 Star bows at R5 with the 60% DMG buff.
Amber's Artifacts

Wanderer's Troupe gives a massive CA boost which Amber relies on heavily

Shimenwa's Reminiscence gives a bigger boost to Amber's CA after using her skill, but Wanderer's Troupe can be better because of the EM given, so choose the one with better substats.

Gilded Dreams can be argued to be good as it gives an EM buff and an ATK buff as long as you have one Pyro character and one non-pyro character, which is ber likely.

A two-piece of Crimson Witch Of Flames, ATK or EM can work well for Amber.
Amber Teams
This is a standard Melt team with Kazuha for DMG Bonus, Bennet for ATK buff and Ayaka for Cryo application. Ganyu or Rosaria can also work to aply Cryo if you don't have Ayaka, though and have the same rotation. Amber on Wanderer's Troupe in this case, but any of the recommended artifacts can work. Kazuha on Viridescent Venerer for the RES Shred but Sucrose can give more EM if you don't have Kazuha and want an alternative. Bennet on Nobblesse Obliege for the ATK buff. Ayaka should be on a mix of ATK, EM and Blizzard Strayer but your normal DPS build can work as long at it has enough ER and substats. The rotation would be: Bennett E - Kazuha Q,E (E,Q,E if C1) - Bennett Q - Ayaka Q - Amber CA Spam (E beforehand if on Shimenawa's Reminiscence) and repeat.
A classic Vaporize team of Amber, Furina, Kazuha and Bennet. Amber on Wanderer's Troupe but the recommended artifacts can perform well. Furina on Golden Troupe but remember that characters like Xingqiu, Yelan and Kokomi can work as Hydro applicators as well. Less so Xingqiu or Yelan because Amber won't be using her NAs. Furina's DMG buff is so good that it'd be a waste to not use her. Kazuha on Viridescent Venerer for VV Shred but Sucrose can work fine for more EM. Bennet on Noblesse Obliege for ATK buffs. The rotation will be: Furina E,Q - Kazuha Q - Bennet E,Q - Kazuha E - Amber CA spam (E beforehand if on Shimenawa's Reminisence)
Outro
Overall, Amber is subpar when compared to other Pyro characters. Think of Hu Tao, Arlecchino, Lyney, even Yoimiya in some cases. But if you like Amber's personality and character, no one can stop you from playing your favourite character.
