Is Whimsy Worth?
4pc Whimsy is a noticeable upgrade, but is not worth farming before more important sets like Emblem and GT, assuming you already have a good 4pc Glad.
So Many Options, Yet so Few
Notice how none of the good options are F2P. Please add actual good F2P DPS polearms Mihoyo.

Optimal Hydro Units
Arlecchino will have roughly 20 second rotations, so the "best" hydro options based on their cooldowns are as follows.
- Candace (15 secs): With an NA DMG buff, consistent off-field Hydro application and short cooldowns/set-up times, Candace is a really, really great option... with the caveat that you need C6.
- Yelan (18 secs): While not as fast as Candace, Yelan is significantly more likely to actually be part of your roster compared to a C6 Candace. She also has damage buffs and provides reasonable personal damage.
- Mona (20 secs): Mona is realistically not really an option. Mona will be more of a damage per screenshot character and at that point you should use a melt team with a cryo character.
- Goofy Stuff: There's some funny options like burst support Ayato or C2 Nilou, but that's pretty desperate. (Or you live for the memes.) If you don't have a C6 Candace, just play Yelan and do not under any circumstances use Xingqiu.
