notes - you do not want to build atk on his artefacts. Bennett's burst buff only skales with his base atk, artefacts don't impact that. only his level and weapon base atk does.

absolutely! the only characters that would be negatively impacted by c6 Bennett don't want to use him (for example, Eula and Ayaka). otherwise, c6 Bennett either doesn't matter for your main dps or it directly buffs them.
- characters don't need Bennett Clorinde, Neuvillette, Alhaitham, Nilou, Cyno, Tighnari, Ayato, Yae Miko, Itto, Ayaka, Eula, Albedo
- characters where the infusion doesn't matter Navia, Wriothesley, Wanderer, Raiden, Xiao, Ganyu, Childe, Klee
- characters where the infusion is a buff Arlecchino, Lyney, Yoimiya, Hu Tao (mainly on Furina Xianyun teams), Diluc, Xiangling
