Disclaimers:
-
You definitely do not need C2 Furina to make Furina a good unit. She is an amazing unit at C0 and her C2 just helps to enable some teams and have them feel better to play. That doesn't mean you can't play these teams at C0, it simply means your Furina is likely better suited to be slotted into other teams.
-
Take everything this guide says with a grain of salt. Genshin Impact is an easy enough game that with enough investment, you can clear even the hardest content (Spiral Abyss) with completely Free-to-play characters so play the game however you enjoy it!
-
This guide will not cover every single team that Furina can fit in, only some examples of exceptional teams based on our testing that perform even better with Furina at C2+. Also, the difference between the fanfare generation between C0 and C2 Furina Teams is less noticeable in teams focused on Cryo On-Fielders and Electro On-Fielders as those teams generally have a slot for a teamwide healer with single target healers often being suboptimal, as such we will not be covering those teams in this guide

Content:
So, you've gotten Furina's second constellation! You now have access to arguably the best buffer in the entire game and now, you can (relatively) ignore her requirement of needing a teamwide healer to maximize her fanfare! So, with that being said, let's check out some new teams that are enabled by C2 Furina!
Assumptions
-
With Furina, Marechaussee Hunter becomes most on-field units best set. As such, if a character has another set that comes close mathematically to Marechaussee Hunter, then it will be noted, otherwise, assume that on-field unit = Marechaussee Hunter.
-
There are a multitude of weapon options for characters and this guide assumes a high to very high investment options for characters, weapons and teams. As such, all characters are equipped with their best weapon option with alternatives being listed in their descriptions if applicable.
-
4 Star characters are assumed to be C6, 5 Star Limited Characters are assumed to be C0 and 5 Star Standard Characters are assumed to be C2 (unless stated otherwise)
Geo Teams
- Itto is also able to use Husk of Opulent Dreams if you don't have a decent set of Marechaussee Hunter.
- Itto's best weapon option is Redhorn Stonethresher but Skyward Spine (especially at R5) is a very close second
- Chiori can also use Husk of Opulent Dreams
- Chiori may use Cinnabar Spindle if her signature weapon is not available
- Chiori can be swapped for Albedo for a similar role in the team (albeit for less damage)
- Gorou may use Husk of Opulent Dreams for lower team support but higher healing values (C4+)
- Furina may run a more damage-focused weapon assuming she has enough Energy Recharge to use her burst every rotation
Anemo Teams
- Furina may run a more damage-focused weapon assuming she has enough Energy Recharge to use her burst every rotation
- Marechaussee Hunter will be Xiao’s best artifact set however it leads him to the issue of overcapping on Crit Rate. In these scenarios, sets such as Vermillion Hereafter and 2pc/2pc combinations gain a lot more in value
- Xiao can use multiple weapons such as PJWS, Staff of Homa, Blackcliff Pole & Deathmatch, although Crit Rate weapons are prone to overcrit on Marechaussee Hunter
- Xianyun can use Viridescent Venerer, Ocean Hued Clam, Noblesse Oblige or Song of Days Past as her artifact set.
- Xianyun may use Skyward Atlas if she has low ER requirements, or if her requirements are high, she may then use the event 4-star weapon, Oathsworn Eye, or Favonious Codex
- Faruzan can run Noblesse Oblige or Viridescent Venerer as her artifact set.
Pyro Teams
- In single-target scenarios, this team has Arlecchino’s highest theoretical DPS but it sacrifices survivability for that damage
- Arlecchino can run Staff of Homa as opposed to PJWS if running into issues with PJWS and overcapping on crit.
- In multi-target scenarios, Furina may end up being the one vaping as opposed to Arlecchino. This is not necessarily a bad thing as Arlecchino is not able to vape the majority of her damage anyway so Furina vaping will drastically increase her team damage contribution
- Bennett can run a high base ATK sword and sacrifice the ER substat of Skyward Blade if his ER requirements are low enough
- Kazuha can run an EM sword instead of Favonious Sword if his ER requirements are low enough
- Furina may run a more damage-focused weapon assuming she has enough Energy Recharge to use her burst every rotation
Hydro Teams
- Kazuha can run an EM sword instead of Favonious Sword if his ER requirements are low enough
- Neuvillette can run Sacrificial Jade or Prototype Amber if the Tome of Eternal Flow is not available.
- Furina may run a more damage-focused weapon assuming she has enough Energy Recharge to use her burst every rotation
- If the team has very low ER requirements, Zhongli can use the 3-star polearm, Black Tassel, to make his shield stronger
- For simpler rotations, Zhongli can use Tenacity of the Millelith as opposed to Archaic Petra, for less theoretical damage
Dendro Teams
- Alhaitham's weapons are as such, Light of Foliar Incision>Jade Cutter>Wolf Fang> Iron Sting
- Furina may run a more damage-focused weapon assuming she has enough Energy Recharge to use her burst every rotation
- Nahida may use Prototype Amber for more Fanfare Generation and teamwide healing
- Nahida may use TTDS for the 48% ATK boost, however, Alhaitham will not make great use of this due to his more important EM Scaling
- Nahida may use Favonious Codex for more team energy
- Kuki Shinobu can use Iron Sting as a slight downgrade to Key of Kaj-Nisut, or if the team has high ER requirements, then she can use Favonious Sword
Closing Thoughts
Furina's C2 is an amazing constellation but like all constellations in Genshin, it is not a necessity at all and constellations should only be pulled for after getting the characters you want first.
