DON'T BUILD HER WRONG! Best Escoffier Guide & Build [Best Weapons, Artifacts, Teams, and MORE] Genshin Impact 5.6

Welcome to this guide on Escoffier, the upcoming five-star Cryo character wielding a polearm. Escoffier is a cryo support, dealing off-field cryo damage with her elemental skill, healing allies with her elemental burst, decreasing enemies’ cryo and hydro resistance with her second talent, and creating dishes with her passive talent.

For Escoffier’s ability level priority, first her elemental skill, second her elemental burst, and lastly her basic attack.

For Escoffier’s artifact set, her best four-piece set is Noblesse Oblige. Its two-piece set effect increases elemental burst damage by twenty percent. Escoffier’s elemental burst also deals damage to enemies, so she can effectively use Noblesse Oblige’s two-piece set effect. Its four-piece set effect states that using an Elemental Burst increases all party members’ attack by twenty percent for twelve seconds. This effect increases the entire team’s damage, making it easier to clear endgame content. It also increases her own attack stat, which is crucial for dealing more damage with her elemental burst and elemental skill. Alternatively, she can use a four-piece set of Tenacity of the Millelith. If you want to prioritize damage, Escoffier could use either Blizzard Strayer or Golden Troupe. If you want to prioritize healing, she could use either four-piece sets of Maiden Beloved or Ocean-Hued Clam. Aside from four-piece sets, she can use two-piece artifact sets with healing bonus, energy recharge, and attack percent. These include Gladiator’s Finale, Maiden Beloved, and Emblem of Severed Fate.

For Escoffier’s sands, use attack percent or energy recharge. For her goblet, use either cryo damage percent or attack percent. For her circlet, use either critical rate or critical damage percent, attack percent, or healing bonus.

For Escoffier’s energy recharge requirements, aim for around two hundred to two hundred thirty percent as a solo cryo character. If you have another cryo character with Escoffier, aim for around one hundred seventy percent to one hundred ninety percent. For triple cryo characters, aim for around one hundred sixty-five percent.

For Escoffier’s substat priority, prioritize energy recharge until the optimal requirement, then prioritize attack percent, next prioritize critical rate and critical damage percent, and lastly, prioritize flat attack.

For Escoffier’s weapon, obviously her five-star signature polearm is the best for her. The best four-star polearm for Escoffier is Favonius Lance. Critical hits provide a sixty percent chance to generate some elemental particles, which regenerates six energy for Escoffier. An alternative four-star polearm that Escoffier can use is Wavebreaker’s Fin. It has a high base attack, and Escoffier’s elemental burst damage increases up to forty percent elemental burst damage. A free-to-play four-star polearm is the catch, which increases elemental burst damage and elemental burst critical rate. If you have the limited event four-star polearm, Missive Windspear, Escoffier can use it. Her attack and elemental mastery are increased after an elemental reaction is triggered.

If you are a dolphin or a low spender and want to decide between Escoffier’s constellation one and her five-star signature polearm, I would recommend pulling her constellation one first because the critical damage of Cryo damage dealt by all nearby party members is increased by sixty percent when all party members are either Hydro or Cryo, for fifteen seconds after Escoffier uses Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst; this is also her constellation-stopping point.

For Escoffier’s best team, she can be played with Neuvillette, Furina, and Shenhe. Escoffier can also be played with Ayaka, Shenhe, and Xingqiu. A Ganyu team can include, Mona, Yelan, and Diona. A free-to-play team is Escoffier, Chongyun, Rosaria, and Xingqiu. With Snezhnaya around the corner, expect more Cryo characters and the Cryo Archon to make use of Escoffier. Unfortunately, Skirk is rumored to be Cryo and not Quantum, so Escoffier will be her best-in-slot support.

Escoffier’s Normal Attack: Performs up to three consecutive spear strikes. Escoffier’s Charged Attack: Consumes a certain amount of stamina to perform an upward thrust attack. Escoffier’s Plunging Attack: Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing A.o.E. damage upon impact.

Escoffier’s Elemental Skill: Witness the true essence of “cuisine”! Depending on whether the skill is tapped or held, Escoffier showcases Fontaine’s proud culinary arts in different ways. Tap: Activates the Full-Spectrum Multitasking Culinary Mechanism in “Low-Temperature Refrigeration” mode, dealing A.o.E. Cryo damage to surrounding opponents. In this mode, the Culinary Mechanism follows the active character and periodically launches “Frost Parfaits” at nearby opponents, dealing Cryo damage. Arkhe: Ousia. At fixed intervals, when Escoffier activates the Culinary Mechanism in this mode, it summons a Surge Blade, dealing Ousia-aligned A.o.E. Cryo damage. Hold: Activates the Full-Spectrum Multitasking Culinary Mechanism in “Improvised Cooking” mode.

Escoffier’s Elemental Burst: Demonstrates exquisite knife skills, dealing A.o.E. Cryo damage and restoring H.P. for all nearby party members based on Escoffier's attack power.

Escoffier’s Talent One: After casting the Elemental Burst, Escoffier gains the “Therapeutic Cuisine” effect for nine seconds: periodically restores H.P. to the nearby active character, with the healing amount based on one hundred thirty-eight point two four percent of Escoffier's attack power.

Escoffier’s Talent Two: When there are one, two, three, or four Hydro or Cryo characters in the party, after Escoffier’s Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst hits opponents, it decreases those opponents’ Hydro and Cryo resistance by five percent, ten percent, fifteen percent, or fifty-five percent for twelve seconds.

Escoffier’s Passive Talent: Holding the Elemental Skill activates the Full-Spectrum Multitasking Culinary Mechanism in “Improvised Cooking” mode. Culinary Mechanism - Improvised Cooking Mode: Deploys the Culinary Mechanism on the field. The mechanism can absorb elemental attacks. Once the absorbed elemental energy reaches a certain threshold, it transforms the pre-placed ingredients into delicious dishes. Escoffier requires time to procure new ingredients. After producing a certain number of dishes, a 7-day cooldown is required before production can resume.

Escoffier’s Constellation One: When all party members are either Hydro or Cryo, for fifteen seconds after Escoffier uses Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst, the Critical Damage of Cryo damage dealt by all nearby party members is increased by sixty percent. Requires unlocking Talent Two.

Escoffier’s Constellation Two: When Escoffier activates the Culinary Mechanism in “Low-Temperature Refrigeration” mode, she gains the “Freshly Made Delicacy” effect for fifteen seconds: during this period, Escoffier gains five stacks of “Cold Prep.” When nearby active characters, excluding Escoffier, deal Cryo damage, one stack of “Cold Prep” is consumed to increase the damage dealt, with the increase based on two hundred forty percent of Escoffier’s attack power. If Cryo damage hits multiple opponents simultaneously, the number of “Cold Prep” stacks consumed is based on the number of opponents hit.

Escoffier’s Constellation Three: Increases the level of Elemental Skill by three, up to a maximum of fifteen.

Escoffier’s Constellation Four: Extends the duration of “Therapeutic Cuisine” by six seconds. During this period, when healing is triggered by “Therapeutic Cuisine,” there is a chance for the healing amount to be increased by one hundred percent, and Escoffier regenerates two energy. The chance is equivalent to Escoffier's Critical Rate. This effect can be triggered up to seven times during a single “Therapeutic Cuisine” duration. Requires unlocking Talent One.

Escoffier’s Constellation Five: Increases the level of Elemental Burst by three, up to a maximum of fifteen.

Escoffier’s Constellation Six: Enhances the Culinary Mechanism in “Low-Temperature Refrigeration” mode: when the current active character in the party, excluding Escoffier, hits an opponent with a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, or Plunging Attack, the Culinary Mechanism will fire an additional “Special Frost Parfait,” dealing A.o.E. Cryo damage equal to three hundred fifty percent of Escoffier's attack power. This damage is considered Elemental Skill damage. This effect can be triggered once every zero point five seconds, up to six times during the duration of the Culinary Mechanism in “Low-Temperature Refrigeration” mode.
