Genshin Impact Xilonen Best Teams

Xilonen is finally out and has already proven herself to be a great support hero on par with the likes of Kazuha. She is an amazing unit that can not only buff and heal the team but can also be played as a main DPS if you so wish. Depending on which playstyle you decide to go with, you’ll have to whip up a different build and different teams for Xilonen. And that’s where we come into play. Below you can find a series of teams for both support and DPS Xilonen to quickly get you started if you’ve had the luck of getting her!

When it comes to teams for Xilonen, they will be largely different depending on how you’ve chosen to play her. There are two main variations when it comes to teams for Xilonen. Those are support teams and DPS teams. Below you can find example teams for both playstyles with a short description for each team.

For Xilonen’s support teams, there are practically endless variations as long as you pair Xilonen with characters from two different elements that can crystalize. That means either Pyro and Hydro, Cryo and Pyro, and so on. That is why it is hard to cover all of the teams, but we will give you three example teams that you can make to make great use of Xilonen’s buffing abilities.

The first team we’ll look at is the Mualani + Xilonen team. This team takes full advantage of Xilonen’s ability to shred the enemies’ defense elemental resistance while also providing a good amount of Nightsoul Burst procs to quickly increase the damage of Mualani’s ultimate. With Xiangling and Sucrose in the team, it becomes a bit more F2P friendly while also maintaining a great amount of support and burst potential.

Given that Xilonen can be practically put into any team in the game thanks to her overall support utility, she can also be a great addition to Arlecchino teams, where she will greatly boost Arlecchino’s damage. In this team, Xilonen’s healing might prove to be a bit useless, but the sheer damage buff she provides more than makes up for that.

Finally, we have a team featuring both Geo mommies Navia and Xilonen. This team works by having Xilonen boost Navia’s damage by providing a decent amount of Geo Shred, allowing for even bigger burst crits from Navia. Bennet and Xiangling are here to once again make the team somewhat F2P.

Xilonen's DPS teams are slightly more limited due to the need to have mostly Geo characters, or no more than 2 characters whose elements can be crystallized.

When it comes to Xilonen’s DPS team, you will not want to have any diversity in elements but will want to stick with almost a full Geo team to actually make Xilonen able to deal any damage. That is why for this team we only have Yelan as a Hydro character to boost Xilonen’s damage with her Ultimate, while also having Kachina and Gorou here to make the team more accessible and greatly boost Xilonen’s damage. Additionally, this team is also great for world exploration thanks to the addition of Xilonen, Yelan, and Kachina, so it’s safe to say you won’t have any problems climbing!
