Video Guide:
Introduction:
Hey everyone, welcome to our guide for the upcoming Ice five-star character, the Rememberance Trailblazer. They are set to be released in the first half of patch three point zero of Honkai Star Rail and will be able to be obtained for free by playing the new patch three point zero trailblazer mission. They are shaping up to be an amazing summon support. The remembrance trailblazer is meta-defining when paired with Sunday, who was available in patch two point seven.
Kit:
Alright, let's jump right into the Remembrance Trailblazer's kit. Starting with their Basic Attack, called Leave It to Me!, they deal Ice Damage equal to one hundred percent of their Attack to one designated enemy. It is a straightforward single-target attack that scales effectively as they level up, providing consistent damage output throughout battles.
Moving on to their skill, I Choose You!, this ability is crucial for maintaining their presence on the battlefield. When you use this skill, it summons the Memosprite Mem. If Mem is already on the field, instead of summoning another, it restores Mem's H.P. by sixty percent of Mem's maximum H.P. and grants Mem an additional ten percent Charge. This dual functionality ensures that Mem remains active and healthy, maximizing your team's efficiency.
Their Ultimate, Together, Mem!, is a powerful A.O.E. attack that costs one hundred fifty energy. When activated, it summons Mem if they are not already present and grants them twenty percent charge. Then, Mem deals Ice Damage equal to two hundred forty percent of their Attack to all enemies. This ultimate ability not only provides massive area damage but also significantly boosts your team's offensive capabilities.
Their talent, Almighty Companion, enhances Mem's performance. Mem starts with an initial speed of one hundred thirty and has Maximum H.P. equal to eighty percent of the Trailblazer's maximum H.P. plus six hundred forty. For every six energy regenerated by all allies in total, Mem gains one percent charge. This talent ensures that Mem can continuously contribute to your team's damage output by maintaining their charge levels.
The technique, Memories Back as Echoes, adds another layer to their strategic gameplay. After using this technique, it creates a special dimension that lasts for ten seconds. Enemies within this dimension are placed in a time-stop state, halting all their actions. Additionally, when entering battle against enemies afflicted with Time Stop, their actions are delayed by fifty percent, and the Trailblazer deals True Damage equal to one hundred percent of their Attack to all enemies. This ability effectively controls the battlefield by disrupting enemy actions and dealing substantial true damage.
Mem's Skill, Baddies! Trouble!, deals Ice Damage in multiple instances. It deals four instances of Ice Damage equal to thirty-six percent of Mem's Attack to one random enemy each, and finally, deals ninety percent of Mem's Attack to all enemies. This A.O.E. attack not only spreads damage across multiple targets but also ensures that all enemies take significant damage.
Lemme! Help You! is a support ability that advances the action of one designated ally by one hundred percent and grants them Mem's Support for three turns. For every instance of damage dealt by the target with Mem's Support, an additional instance of true damage equal to thirty-eight percent of the original damage is dealt. However, when using this ability on the unit that triggers it, the action advance effect cannot be triggered again, maintaining game balance.
Mem's Talent, Friends! Together!, increases all allies' critical damage by an amount equal to twelve percent of Mem's critical damage plus eighteen percent. Additionally, if Mem's Charge is not at one hundred percent, they automatically use Baddies! Trouble! when they take action. Once their charge reaches one hundred percent, Mem immediately takes action and can actively use Lemme! Help You! in their next action. This talent boosts your team's critical damage and provides additional damage through Mem's automatic attacks.
Their enhancements include Go, Mem, Go!, which immediately grants Mem fifty percent charge upon summoning, and No... Regrets, which advances the Trailblazer's action by twenty-five percent when Mem disappears. These enhancements provide additional charge management and action flexibility, ensuring that both the Trailblazer and Mem remain highly effective in battle.
Ability Level Priority:
If Mem’s abilities have to be leveled, prioritize them before the trailblazer’s, and prioritize memosprite skill, then memosprite talent. The remembrance trailblazer’s ability-leveling priority is their talent, then their ultimate, then their skill, and lastly their basic attack. Their talent affects Mem’s H.P. amount, so that should be prioritized. Leveling up their ultimate increases the amount of damage it deals. Meanwhile, leveling up their skill only increases the amount of H.P. restored for Mem. The remembrance trailblazer will use their basic attack often, but it does not deal that much damage, so it is not worth leveling up.
Major traces:
In addition to their core abilities, the Remembrance Trailblazer has three bonus abilities:
Major Trace One, Magnets and Long Chains, says that when the maximum energy of an ally target with Mem's Support exceeds eighty, for every ten excess energy, the multiplier of true damage dealt via Mem's Support increases by one point five percent, up to a maximum increase of twenty-four percent.
Major Trace Two, Petite Parable, says that when using Baddies! Trouble!, Mem immediately gains five percent charge.
Major Trace Three, Rhapsode's Scepter, says that at the start of battle, the Trailblazer's action is advanced by thirty percent. Additionally, when Mem first enters the field, they are granted an extra thirty five percent charge.
Their Trace Stat Bonuses include a thirty-seven point three percent Critical Damage boost, along with fourteen percent increases to both Attack and H.P. These bonuses significantly enhance their damage output and survivability on the battlefield.
Major trace priority:
The remembrance trailblazer’s major trace unlocking priority is first major trace one, then major trace three, and lastly major trace two.
Recommended Endgame Stats:
The remembrance trailblazer's recommended endgame stats are four thousand H.P., one thousand defense, one hundred twenty percent critical damage, sixty percent critical rate, one hundred thirty-four speed, and an energy regeneration rate of one hundred nineteen point four four percent.
Eidolons:
Moving on to Eidolons, these provide additional bonuses that synergize with their abilities, which you can get for free:
Eidolon One, Narrator of the Present, states that ally targets with Mem's support have their critical rate increased by ten percent.
Eidolon Two, Gleaner of the Past, states that when Mem's Ice-Type teammates take action, Mem immediately gains three percent charge. This effect can trigger a maximum of three times per turn and resets at the start of Mem's turn.
Eidolon Three, Chanter of the Future, increases the trailblazer’s skill and talent levels by two, up to a maximum of level fifteen, and Mem's talent level by one, up to a maximum of level ten.
Eidolon Four, Dancer of the Muse, states that when an ally target with zero Max Energy actively uses an ability, Mem gains an additional three percent charge, and the multiplier of true damage dealt by this target via Mem's support increases by six percent.
Eidolon Five, Seamster of the Ode, increases the trailblazer’s Ultimate level by two, up to level fifteen; Basic Attack by one, up to level ten; and Mem's Skill level by one, up to level ten.
Eidolon Six, Bearer of the Revelation, sets their Ultimate's Critical Rate to one hundred percent.
Light cones:
Now, let's talk about light cones. The Remembrance Trailblazer can make the best use out of the four star light cone, Sweat Now, Cry Less, which increases their Critical Damage by twenty four percent. When their memosprite uses an ability on ally targets, increases all ally targets' damage dealt by sixteen percent, lasting for three turns. For three-star Light Cones, Shadowburn and Reminiscence offer valuable energy recovery and damage boosts through Commemoration stacks, respectively.
Relic Set:
Next up are the Recommended Gear options. For relic sets, I highly recommend the Hero of Triumphant Song. Its two-piece set effect increases attack by twelve percent, and the four-piece set effect boosts the trailblazer’s speed by six percent while their memosprite is on the field. Additionally, when the memosprite attacks, both the Trailblazer and Mem gain a thirty percent increase in Critical Damage for two turns.
Planar Set:
The best planar set for the remembrance trailblazer is The Wondrous BananAmusement Park, which offers a sixteen percent critical damage increase. When a target summoned by the trailblazer is on the field, their critical damage increases by an additional thirty two percent.
Relic Main Stats:
For optimal performance, focus on the following main stats:
Critical Damage for their body piece, attack percent for their feet piece, Ice Damge Boost for their planar sphere piece, and Energy Regeneration Rate for their link rope.
Relic Substats:
For Relic Substats, start by prioritizing speed until you reach one hundred thirty-four. Then, focus on critical rate and critical damage in a 1:2 ratio, and finally, add attack percent. This ensures the trailblazer can act quickly while dealing damage.
Teams:
Building the right team around the Remembrance Trailblazer is key to unlocking their full potential. I recommend pairing them with Harmony characters like Sunday, who can advance character’s actions and enhance charge generation. Including summon-focused characters like Aglaea can further synergize with the trailblazer’s abilities, allowing Mem to act more frequently and provide consistent true damage to Aglaea’s memosprite. Additionally, having a sustain unit like Lingsha or Aventurine ensures that Mem remains healthy and active throughout the battle.
For example, a strong team composition would include the Remembrance Trailblazer, Sunday, Aglaea, and a reliable sustain unit such as Huohuo. This setup maximizes charge generation, damage output, and overall team sustainability, making it a formidable lineup against any challenge. If you don't have Sunday, you can replace him with other Harmony units like Sparkle or Bronya to maintain synergy.
Another team is the Remembrance Trailblazer, Yunli, Robin, and Aventurine. This team mainly focuses on advancing Yunli and using follow-up attacks.
A free-to-play team is the Remembrance Trailblazer, Gallagher, Hunt March 7th, and Moze or Pela.
Value:
The Remembrance Trailblazer is a meta-defining addition to the roster, especially since the meta will focus on the summon mechanic.
