Win Conditions
- Use your Q slightly behind the enemy rather than on their current location to make it harder for them to dodge it.
- Wait for the marker before pressing your Ultimate R. Don’t use it unless the marker appears.
- Whenever your Q or W is up, don’t automatically use either one of them unless you’re certain that the enemy isn’t a threat to you. Otherwise, the enemy may wait for you to use either one of these abilities and then play aggressive while it’s on cooldown.
Weak Against
- Dr. Mundo: Dr. Mundo's sustain and durability allow him to endure Cho'Gath's harass and poke. His Cleavers can whittle down Cho'Gath's health over time, and he can easily regenerate any lost health.
- Fiora: Fiora's kit excels at dueling and can easily outmaneuver Cho'Gath's skill shots. Her W ability can parry Cho'Gath's crowd control, and her true damage from the Vitals allows her to quickly burst down the tanky Cho'Gath.
- Kayle: Kayle's range and scaling make it difficult for Cho'Gath to effectively trade or engage. As Kayle scales, she can poke Cho'Gath from a distance, eventually turning into a powerful ranged attacker, which Cho'Gath may struggle to reach.
Strong Against
- Kennen: Cho'Gath's tankiness and sustain allow him to endure Kennen's poke and crowd control abilities. Kennen is typically squishy and lacks the burst damage to take down Cho'Gath quickly.
- Poppy: Cho'Gath's tankiness can be challenging for Poppy to overcome, especially early in the game. Cho'Gath's abilities can interrupt Poppy's mobility, making it difficult for her to engage or escape effectively.
- Riven: Cho'Gath's crowd control and durability can disrupt Riven's combos and all-ins. His sustain can help him survive Riven's burst, and his crowd control can prevent her from dashing around the lane effectively.

Game Strategy
- Early Game: In the early game, Cho'Gath should focus on farming and using his E to poke enemies while sustaining through trades with his passive. Play defensively if facing aggressive opponents, and utilize your Q to disengage or set up ganks when your jungler is nearby.
- Mid Game: During the mid game, Cho'Gath should have started stacking Feast (R) to grow in size and power. Participate in team fights, using your rupture and W to disrupt enemy formations. Push your lane and roam to secure objectives, like Rift Herald or Dragon, with your Feast providing secure smite-like damage for secure steals.
- Late Game: In the late game, Cho'Gath becomes a tanky frontline for his team. Prioritize engaging fights with your rupture and silencing high-impact enemy abilities with Feral Scream. Use Feast to execute high-value targets or secure major objectives like Baron or Elder Dragon. Focus on peeling for your carries, soaking up damage, and creating opportunities for your team to win decisive team fights.
