COMBAT AHRI - 25.6 - 25.7

Comments0

How does the build work?

This new Ahri build aims to give the champion a three-item power spike while scaling with health items and damage amplifications. The Electrocute rune page allows us to maintain clean trades, and we use the Inspiration tree for better synergy with the core item of the build, Rod of Ages.

  • Electrocute: For short trades during the laning phase, decent damage, and easily procs.
  • Taste of Blood: Lane sustain—proc it whenever possible without overexposing yourself.
  • Grizzly Mementos: Trinket cooldown reduction, great for making picks in the mid-game since you get the Sweeper Lens earlier or for face-checking if you take the Farsight Alteration.
  • Ultimate Hunter: Provides cooldown reduction on your ultimate, and Ahri needs her ult to make plays.
  • Magical Footwear: Since we need to rush Rod of Ages as quickly as possible, we'll use this rune to avoid buying tier 1 boots. We'll purchase Liandry’s second, and once it's completed, we'll upgrade the boots from this rune.
  • Triple Tonic: We'll use this rune for the three elixirs so that at level 9, we get an extra skill point. Combined with the additional level from Rod of Ages, we'll scale much faster compared to our opponent.

  • Rod of Ages: Our core item—we’ll rush it as fast as possible. It provides survivability in lane due to its components and allows us to scale thanks to its stats and the extra level upon fully stacking it.
  • Liandry’s Anguish: It provides damage amplification, extra health, and ability power. This item will always offer solid damage and also helps us secure passive and ultimate resets thanks to its burn effect.
  • Ionian Boots of Lucidity: We'll purchase them after completing our second item. They provide summoner spell haste, allowing us to have Flash and Teleport up sooner. Additionally, since this build doesn’t have much cooldown reduction, these boots are the most useful choice.
  • Riftmaker: More damage amplification and health. Its passive will also grant us additional ability power since we’ll be stacking a lot of health. Additionally, it provides some healing when fully stacked.
  • Rabadon's Deathcap: The best item to maximize all the AP we've accumulated. Its components are quite comfortable to build, and since we already have three items, we're in a safe position to buy it without losing damage. This also lets us fully take advantage of Ahri’s AP scalings.
  • Morellonomicon: A great item to round out this build if the enemy has healing. It provides health, ability haste, and Grievous Wounds, which we’ll apply effectively thanks to Liandry’s burn. If healing reduction isn’t needed, you can go for Bloodletter's Curse or Cryptbloom if you need magic penetration.
