Win Conditions
- Gwen can deal a lot of damage very quickly with a fully stacked Q! Look for trades when you have max stacks.
- Her Ultimate can be recast multiple times. It also offers her a heal which helps her in 1v1 fights.
- Your W is a great tool that can stop incoming abilities such as Thresh or Blitzcrank. Although it doesn’t protect your allies, you can put yourself in between you and the enemy so your ally doesn’t get CC’d.
Weak Against
- Singed: Singed's fling and poison trail can be problematic for Gwen since she relies on getting up close to her opponents. Singed's crowd control and constant damage can make it challenging for Gwen to engage or trade effectively.
- Warwick: Warwick's sustain and dueling power make it difficult for Gwen to trade effectively. His passive healing and the crowd control can make it hard for Gwen to burst him down.
- Kled: Kled's all-in potential and sustained damage can be problematic for Gwen. His relentless aggression and the dismounted form's damage can overwhelm Gwen's defenses and trades in the early game.

- Shen: Gwen can out-trade Shen due to her high sustained damage and mobility. Shen's damage output is not as high in the early game.
- Sion: Sion's telegraphed abilities make it easier for Gwen to dodge and counter-attack. Her burst damage can break through Sion's shield and make trading in her favor.
- Tahm Kench: Gwen can outmaneuver Tahm Kench, avoiding his tongue lash and subsequent Devour. Her sustained damage can whittle down Tahm Kench's health, and her mobility can keep her out of danger during trades.

Game Strategy
- Early Game: In the early game, Gwen should use her passive and Needlework (Q) to poke and trade with opponents while farming. Keep an eye on your passive stacks, as it provides bonus damage, and play aggressively when it's fully stacked, using your skip-and-slash mobility to dodge enemy skillshots and escape ganks.
- Mid Game: During the mid game, Gwen becomes a strong split-pusher and skirmisher. Focus on completing your Mythic item and build toward Nashor's Tooth and Riftmaker. Split-push side lanes, use your Hallowed Mist (W) to avoid ganks and tower dives, and join team fights with your Needlework and skip abilities, focusing on diving enemy backlines and executing high-priority targets.
- Late Game: In the late game, Gwen's survivability and damage output make her a potent teamfighter. Stick with your team, use Hallowed Mist to deny enemy vision and engage enemies with your ultimate. Coordinate with your team to initiate fights, diving onto enemy carries with your high burst damage.
