Karma can both poke and peel, so the Aery is great in this instance.

Win Conditions

  • Use your empowered Q and your auto attacks to poke the enemy throughout the laning phase. Attack them whenever you have Spellthief stacks available.
  • You need to stick as close as you can to your backline throughout the mid and late game. Sticking to them is key to the outcome of the game. In team fights, only empower your E (the shield).
  • Minimize your time spent away from your team when warding. Only go to ward if your team is with you. You do not want to get caught out as it may cost your team an objective.

Weak Against

  • Soraka: Soraka's strong sustain and healing abilities can negate the poke and harass damage Karma aims to inflict. Her W can heal her and her ADC, while her E can silence Karma, preventing her from using key abilities.
  • Taric: Taric's E ability can stun Karma or her ADC, disrupting her combos. His W can provide extra protection for his ADC, reducing the effectiveness of Karma's poke.
  • Blitzcrank: Blitzcrank's Q is a significant threat to Karma, as it can pull her or her ADC out of position. If he successfully hooks Karma, she may struggle to escape or defend herself.

Strong Against

  • Lulu: While Lulu provides strong utility and shield abilities, Karma can match her poke and out-trade her early in the laning phase. Karma's damage output can force Lulu to play more defensively.
  • Alistar: Karma's ranged abilities allow her to poke Alistar from a distance, making it challenging for him to engage on her or her ADC. Her crowd control abilities can also help to kite Alistar when he tries to initiate.
  • Pantheon: Karma's poke and crowd control abilities can counter Pantheon's all-in playstyle. She can deter him from landing successful engages by zoning him with her abilities, and her shield can mitigate his Q damage.

Game Strategy

  • Early Game: In the early game, Karma should focus on poking enemies with her Inner Flame (Q) while shielding and empowering her ADC with Inspire (E). Use your range advantage to harass opponents and control the brush, but be mindful of your positioning to avoid all-ins, ensuring your ADC can farm safely.
  • Mid Game: During the mid game, Karma becomes a versatile utility support. Continue to poke enemies with Inner Flame, but prioritize shield usage to enhance your team's survivability in skirmishes and small fights. Utilize your Mantra (R) abilities strategically, empowering your Q for damage or E for enhanced shielding and engage or disengage potential.
  • Late Game: In the late game, Karma excels at team fights and providing utility. Prioritize shielding your carries with Mantra-E, using your AoE snare with Mantra-W (Focused Resolve) to catch out-of-position enemies, and spamming Mantra-Q for area damage and zoning in team fights.
