What is LoL First Stand 2025?

First Stand is the first international event of the 2025 League of Legends season and one of the three S-tier tournaments, alongside MSI and Worlds. It will feature teams from the five major regions: China, Korea, Europe, the Americas, and APAC. This tournament will also be the first to introduce the new Fearless Draft mode. Like every other major event, First Stand comes with its own theme: “Yours for the Taking.”

According to Riot Games, First Stand was designed to “forge a new path to victory; whether it be through brute force, elite mental, sheer creativity, or deft mechanics. This is your chance to find the joy of invention and show the world, and yourself, what you’ve got.”

Where Will First Stand Be Held?

The inaugural edition of First Stand will take place at LoL Park in Seoul, South Korea, the same iconic venue that hosts LCK matches. Located in the Jongno district, South Korea is renowned for nurturing exceptional talent and producing some of the most legendary players in League of Legends history, including Hall of Fame member and five-time world champion Faker.
