LoL Patch 25.S1.1 – The new season is fast approaching…

2025 will be a big year for League of Legends. Aside from several changes in the competitive side of things, the game is also getting many new features, including the addition of a new epic monster, as well as the introduction of seasonal themes close to the lore.

While the new season is yet to start, you can check out some of the planned changes that are likely to be applied in the first update of the new season, the LoL Patch 25.S1.1.

Not a big fan of the new name but it was probably necessary to help distinguish the various seasons across 2025. As always, you can find the detailed numbers below by game designer Spideraxe.

While the official patch schedule for 2025 is yet to be confirmed, you can expect Patch 25.S1.1 to be released somewhere in early January 2025.

It’s still early to make calls on how the meta will look like, so we will have to wait a bit more on the details planned for the new season.

1. Ashe

• Passive bonus base damage: 15% ⇒ 0%
• Passive damage now triggers on the first attack instead of only subsequent attacks
• Q attack speed: 25 – 55% ⇒ 25 – 65%
• AD ratio: 105 – 125% ⇒ 110 – 130%
• W base damage: 20 – 80 ⇒ 60 – 200
• AD ratio: 100% total ⇒ 100% bonus

2. Kalista

• Stats base mana regeneration: 0.4 ⇒ 0.8
• Q base damage: 20 – 280 ⇒ 10 – 270
• Q mana cost: 50 – 70 ⇒ 60 – 80
• E base damage per spear: 8 – 24 ⇒ 7 – 35
• AD ratio per spear: 25 – 45% ⇒ 20 – 40%

3. Twitch

• Slow AP ratio: 5% per 100 AP ⇒ 6% per 100 AP

4. Varus

• Base mana: 360 ⇒ 320
• Q mana cost: 65 – 85 ⇒ 50 – 70
• W on-hit base damage: 8 – 28 ⇒ 6 – 30
• E mana cost: 80 ⇒ 90

5. Warwick

• Q Cooldown: 6 seconds flat ⇒ 8 – 6 seconds
• Q Mana cost: 50 – 90 ⇒ 70 – 90
• W passive attack speed duration: 2.5 seconds ⇒ 1.25 seconds

1. Abyssal Mask

• Passive now increases magic damage by 12% instead of reducing MR by 30%

2. Axiom Arcanist

• Bonus ult effect: 12% ⇒ 14%
• AoE ult damage: 8% ⇒ 9%
