Win Conditions
- When a minion is infected with your E, make sure you finish off the minion off before the infection leaves. If you kill an infected minion, it will infect another closeby enemy.
- If you’re unable to kill the enemy laner, make your way to the bottom or top lane to assist your allies.
- In team fights look to use your R on the enemy who is closest to your allies. Locking them down will result in an easy kill for your team.

- Aurelion Sol: Aurelion Sol's long-range abilities can disrupt Malzahar's spellcasting and push waves effectively. He can also roam quickly, limiting Malzahar's ability to follow his roams due to the lack of mobility in Malzahar's kit.
- Swain: Swain's crowd control and sustain from Q and R allow him to trade effectively against Malzahar. Swain can also root Malzahar with E and engage in all-ins to capitalize on Malzahar's relative lack of mobility.
- Talon: Talon's high mobility, burst damage, and gap-closing abilities make it challenging for Malzahar to stay safe in lane. Talon can quickly engage and burst down Malzahar before he can react effectively.
Strong Against
- Vladimir: Malzahar's constant harassment with E can keep Vladimir from sustaining with his Q. His crowd control with R also prevents Vladimir from using W to escape.
- Ryze: Malzahar's range and E can make it difficult for Ryze to engage effectively. Ryze needs to get close to deal his damage, putting himself in danger of Malzahar's all-in combo, especially when the passive spell shield from Malzahar's passive.

Continue pushing lanes with your Voidlings and participate in skirmishes, ensuring you're always ready to suppress high-value targets during fights.
- Late Game: In the late game, Malzahar excels in full-scale teamfights. Position yourself wisely, using your ultimate to lock down high-priority targets and quickly remove them from the fight. Continue to push side lanes and maintain vision control around objectives, using your Malefic Visions to pressure lanes while providing your team with crucial picks during late-game engagements.
