To avoid wasting your Binding Q, look to engage after the enemy has used their dash or escape ability. If they’re holding on to it, walk up to them and bait it out.
In team fights, you need to lock down the closest target to you and the ADC’s biggest threat. In most cases, this will be the enemy frontline.
Morgana is good at setting up picks around objectives thanks to her Q. Place vision around the map and wait for an immobile enemy to walk past before engaging on them.

Zyra: Zyra can harass Morgana with her long-range abilities, such as Q and E. Her plants can block Morgana's skill shots and crowd control abilities, making it harder for Morgana to land her Q or R.
Xerath: Xerath's extreme range and poke with Q and his stun with SE can make it difficult for Morgana to engage or land her abilities. He can also interrupt Morgana's abilities from a distance, making it challenging to use her spell shield effectively.
Senna: Senna's poke and harass with Q and W can chip away at Morgana's health. Senna's ability to farm with Piercing Darkness can also give her a gold advantage over Morgana.

Leona: Morgana's E can block Leona's crowd control, making it difficult for Leona to engage effectively. Morgana can also root Leona in place with her Q or turn the tide of an engagement with her R.
Yuumi: Morgana's Q can catch Yuumi while she's attached to her ally, preventing her from using her abilities. Morgana's pool can also be effective at damaging Yuumi while she's trying to shield or provide support to her partner.
Seraphine: Morgana's E can negate much of Seraphine's crowd control, which is essential for her kit. Additionally, Morgana's crowd control can disrupt Seraphine's channeling and ability combos, making it challenging for her to poke and engage effectively.

Early Game: In the early game, Morgana should focus on zoning enemies with her Dark Binding (Q) and using Tormented Soil (W) to harass and push the wave. Protect your ADC with Black Shield (E) to prevent crowd control and engage opportunities.
Mid Game: During the mid game, Morgana becomes a strong pick and teamfighting support. Use your Dark Binding to catch enemies out of position, enabling your team to secure objectives or pick off key targets.
Late Game: In the late game, Morgana's Black Shield becomes a game-changing ability. Protect your carries from enemy engages with your E, ensuring they can deal damage safely. Use your Dark Binding to catch out-of-position enemies, providing opportunities for your team to secure picks or engage favorable fights.
