Introduction
Seraphine, the Starry-Eyed Songstress in League of Legends, is a versatile enchanter-mage with a harmonious blend of utility and damage. Her unique playstyle revolves around amplifying her abilities with Stage Presence (Passive) and supporting her team with shields, heals, and crowd control. Whether played as a mid-laner or support, Seraphine’s melodious abilities make her a formidable force in teamfights and a valuable ally in any composition.
Strengths and Weaknesses of Seraphine
- Strengths:
- Area-of-Effect Damage and Utility: Abilities like High Note (Q) and Encore (R) allow Seraphine to deal significant damage while disrupting enemies and aiding her team.
- Team Synergy: Her passive, Stage Presence, rewards playing near allies, enhancing her basic spells and basic attacks for added impact.
- Versatile Support Capabilities: With Surround Sound (W), Seraphine can shield, hasten, and even heal her allies, making her invaluable during skirmishes and teamfights.
- Strong Crowd Control: Beat Drop (E) and Encore (R) provide movement impairments and charms, offering excellent zone control and peel.
- Scaling Utility: Seraphine’s utility scales well into the late game, making her an asset in extended matches.
- Weaknesses:
- Low Mobility: Seraphine lacks mobility tools, making her vulnerable to gap-closing champions and hard crowd control.
- Positioning Dependent: Her effectiveness heavily relies on proper positioning to hit multiple enemies with her abilities and stay near allies.
- High Mana Costs: Frequent use of her abilities can drain her mana quickly, especially in the early game.
- Skill Shot Reliance: Most of Seraphine’s abilities are skill shots, requiring precise aim and timing to maximize her impact.
Seraphine Tips and Tricks
- Maximize Passive Usage: Play around Stage Presence (Passive) to ensure every third spell is amplified, doubling its effect and increasing your efficiency in fights.
- Coordinate with Allies: Cast abilities near allies to empower your basic attacks and enhance the effects of Surround Sound (W) for shields and heals.
- Effective Use of Beat Drop: Beat Drop (E) becomes a root or stun when enemies are slowed or immobilized. Combine it with allies’ crowd control or use Surround Sound (W) to set it up.
- Long-Range Impact: Leverage Encore (R) in teamfights by aiming to hit as many champions as possible, extending its range through allies and enemies.
- Wave Management: Use High Note (Q) to clear waves efficiently while maintaining mana for critical engagements.
- Peel for Carries: In fights, prioritize shielding and healing your carries with Surround Sound (W) and using Beat Drop (E) to disrupt enemy divers.
- Early Mana Management: Conserve mana in the early game by using abilities strategically and relying on empowered spells for maximum value.

Game plan
- Early game
- During the laning phase, focus on poking the enemy down to gain a health advantage. When the enemy is low, commit to an all-in.
- Try your hardest to keep your ADC alive for as long as possible in lane. Provide them with heals Surround Sound W whenever they need them.
- After destroying the bottom lane tower, rotate to the mid lane and try to take that tower. This will open up the map and give your team a gold lead.
- Mid game
- As a Support, you’re quite vulnerable and can easily be killed when going to ward, when you’re moving around the map, and when you’re alone. To reduce the chances of dying and getting caught out of position, try and stick with your team at all times.
- Keep a constant eye on what major objective is spawning next. If it’s spawning soon, make sure you place vision around the objective as quickly and as safely as possible before retreating to safety. Having vision around major objectives is key.
- Look for picks during the mid-game. If you can pick someone off with the help from your allies, you can abuse their death timer to earn more gold and possibly take a tower, an objective or get more kills.
- Late game
- Ward major objectives and place vision in high traffic areas in the late stages of the game. Keep them warded so you can see the enemy move around the map and see them starting the objective.
- Stay with your team at all times. Avoid moving around the map alone so you do not get caught out. Getting caught out will result in your team having to play 4v5. Do not ward alone unless you know where the enemy is.
- Peel for your allies as much as possible. Keeping them alive for as long as possible in team fights is a must in order to win the game.
Conclusion
Seraphine’s melodic playstyle makes her a unique and rewarding champion for players who enjoy combining support and damage. With her ability to amplify allies and charm enemies, she thrives in coordinated team compositions. While her lack of mobility and mana dependency can present challenges, mastering her positioning and timing allows Seraphine to shine as a star performer on the Rift. If you’re looking for a champion that brings harmony and impact to every fight, Seraphine is the perfect pick to lead your team to victory.
