Matchups
- Weak Against: Brand, Cassiopeia, Galio.
- Strong Against: Neeko, Corki, Azir.
Win Conditions
- Do not use your E unless you are going for a kill or to set up a gank. It costs a lot of mana and is main source of escaping.
- Look to farm with your Q to gain stacks and increase your AP. Line up multiple minions for extra damage.
- Use your R on squishy targets to execute them at the start of the fight and make it 5v4.
All in all
- You're not rushing Luden's or Rod of Ages and instead are picking up Shurelya's. From the base stats alone Shurelya's is 132% gold efficient and the item only costs 2200 gold so you're getting so much value for such little cost. The movement speed that you get from Shurelya's makes the item even more insane, especially for Veigar.
- With the Shurelya's active it allows for Veigar to fish for catch plays that he would otherwise never be able to find. Being able to get that quick burst of movement speed not only helps with catch plays but is also super nice to help disengage when dive Champions try to go in.

Game Strategy
- Early Game: In the early game, Veigar should focus on farming with his Q to stack his passive and poke enemies. Play defensively, using Dark Matter to zone and Event Horizon to stun and disengage from ganks. Prioritize last-hitting minions and landing Q on enemy champions to stack AP.
- Mid Game: During the mid game, Veigar's burst potential starts to shine. Push your lane and roam to other lanes or assist in skirmishes with your Event Horizon. Look for opportunities to catch enemies with your stun and burst them down with Primordial Burst. Continue stacking your Q by last-hitting minions and champions.
- Late Game: In the late game, Veigar becomes a powerful teamfighting mage. Use your Event Horizon to catch out-of-position enemies and provide zoning in team fights. Prioritize high-value targets with your abilities, especially your ultimate, to burst them down and turn fights in your favor.
