New Setting that No One is Using
- There's a brand new setting Riot has added that has been 14 years in the making and it changes everything. Have you ever tried to Flash + Ult as Annie and nothing happens for a second until you finally drop Tibbers? Yeah, you weren't lagging. For League's entire lifetime, skillshots operated in one of two ways.
- If it was a line projectile, such as Ezreal's Q, even if your cursor was out of range, upon casting it instantly fired. Compare this to a Orianna Q, this isn't a line missile and so if you cast it outside of it's max range, the game forces Orianna to walk forward until she is in range and then it fired.
- But some champions have the same concept but their ability gets casted immediately, such as Kassadin's ultimate, so this was a problem in the coding.
- This is where the new setting comes in. Go to Options -> Game -> and you'll see "Clamp Cast Target..." and turn this on. Now when you Q as Orianna outside of your max range, it will instantly fire. This makes a lot of champions way easier.
