Hades performs the best in Mid/Solo role. This guide is valid for both roles.
Hades is generally seen as a fun and rewarding character to play. Players enjoy his thematic elements and the challenge he presents in mastering his kit. Spend your ability points in the following order :

Explanation
- Gods Hades's main weakness is Gods that can hard cc him such as Ares. Anubis on the other hand even if he doesn't have any mobility he can ult Hades's ult and melt him in a couple of seconds.
- Builds Hades works the best if built as hybrid, some people might find it boring this is why I recommend building it as a classic mage when playing mid (at max build 1 protection item), in the solo lane I recommend going hybrid, to not die instantly in the fights, as your team will need someone to go in first.
Final thoughts.
Hades is a fun character to play, fortunately they slightly reworked him from SMITE 1 which makes him more viable in certain comps, we'll have to see how he performs later when more gods will be added.
