Odin [Joust] - (How To Play/Learn Odin)

Joust is a very tight game mode. Most fights are cramped 3v3 team battles with excess ability usage. This makes movement, crowd control, aoe damage, & tanks very effective.

Odin fits all of these making him a solid pick.

He is a STR focused tank that can deal massive damage or provide support with his crowd control & stun.

All items are NOT necessarily best > worst as every item should be picked situationaly depending on your team/enemy team composition.

Note: Always pay attention to what the enemies are building and make adjustments as needed.

Path to Valhalla (passive) | Gain Spd, Str, and Int for 10s when a god dies.

Lunge | Leap 8.8m dealing 75% STR upon landing.

+ Used for both entering & exiting combat.

+ Can flank from jungle bushes.

+ Mixes well with *Gungnir's Might*

Raven Shout | Gain a health shield. After duration, the shield explodes dealing physical damage equal to the remaining shield health to nearby enemies. If the shield is full, it deals bonus damage.

+ Used before Lunge to leap in with full shield health - dealing bonus damage.

+ Can be used to block hits from the enemy with it's shield. (It can become reactionary to use this when caught in a sticky situation.

+ Great aoe ability

Gungnir's Might | Charge up the spear for 2 pulses, than throw to stun the enemy dealing STR dmg.

While pulsing- deal str & slow to enemys in the radius.

If thrown before 2 pulses- 40% cooldown.

+ Used before or after Raven Shout + Lunge to catch an enemy.

+ Used to farm minions

+ Used to save teamates at least 10 times a game

Ring Of Spears | Creates a ring that traps enemies inside. Enemy gods who die in the ring grant Odin a permanent STR buff. (max 10 Stacks)

Enemies in the ring cannot Heal, and have reduced STR and INT.

Sections of the ring can be broken with 5 basic attacks. If the ring is left without breaking an exit, (through an ability), they will take physical damage and become slowed.
