Athena Support Build
Start: Heroism, T1 Anamita Charm (physical or magical based on what your fighting), 3 HP pots
Relic: Sundering Arc
Full Build: Heroism, Amanita Charm, Gauntlet of Thebes, Stone of Binding, Leviathan hide, Hussar's Wings, Talisman of Purification
Ability Leveling Order
God Introduction
Athena is a great support in smite 2 and Has some flexability to be a jungler aswell. She brings Early Game Pressure, Tons of Damage, and a Great teamfight Ult.
Athena has had some reworks done in Smite 2, Primarily around her ultimate, This has given Athena the additional support tools she needed to shine.
Her primary strengths lie with his Consistant Damage Output, Consistant Crowd Control, Team Displacement, and Global Rotational Pressence with her ult.
Passive Ability - Reach
Passive: Reach
After using an ability, your next bassic attack becomes a ranged projectile that deals Bonus Magical Damage
Deals 1.25x damage to the first target hit, passes through and damges all enemies, and passes through walls.
This basic attack can Critically Strike.
This basic attack can trigger item effects
Damage Scaling: 125% Strength + 70% Intelligence
Basic Attack - Melee
Has a 3 hit chain. Attacks in order of 1, 1, 2x damage and swing time. The final hit of the chain hits all targets in the area for 2x damage
Damage scaling: 100% Strength +20% Intelligence
Range: 1.92m Cone Angle: 120 degrees
Ability 1 - Preemptive Strike
Athena Charges up, then Dashes forward.
- Deals Magical Damage and Slows enemies
- Gain Physical Protection and Magical Protection when you hit an enemy god

Buildup takes 0.66 Seconds.
Damage: 50 / 90 / 130 / 170 / 210
Damage Scaling: 60% Strength
Slow: 20 / 22.5 / 25 / 27.5 / 30%
Slow Duration: 2 Seconds
Physical Protections: 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 + 10% Physical Protections
Magical Protections: 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 + 10% Magical Protections
Buff Duration: 4 Seconds
Cooldown At All Ranks: 14 Seconds
Mana Cost Per Rank: 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 / 80
Ability 2 - Confound
Taunt Enemies in Front of you.
- Deals Magical Damage
Stats:
Taunted enemies are Slowed by 25%
Damage 40 / 65 / 90 / 115 / 140
Damage Scaling: 20% Intelligence
Taunt Duration: 0.75 / 0.9 / 1.05 / 1.2 / 1.35 Seconds
Taunt Duration Scaling: 0.2s Per 150 Item Protections, stacking up to 2 times.
Radius: 5.6m Cone Angle: 90 degrees Cooldown: 18s Cost: 60/65/70/75/80
Ability 3 - Shield Wall
Create a Phalanx of Soldiers that strike twice in an area.
- Deals Magical Damage initially
- After a brief delay, deals additional Magical Damage
Stats: The delay between the first and second attack is 2 seconds Initial Damage: 60/100/140/180/220 Initial Damage Scaling : 45% Intelligence Final Damage: 80/140/200/260/320 Final Damage Scaling: 55% Intelligence Radius: 3.2m Cooldown: 14s Cost: 50/60/70/80/90
Ultimate - Defender Of Olympus
Teleport to the aid of target ally god, anywhere on the map.
- Apply a Health Shield to your target.
- Deal Magical Damage to nearby enemies upon landing
- You are CC Immune while using this Ability
Stats: Channel lasts for 3.34 seconds.
If your ally dies before your channel completes you will still go to their location.
Damage: 340 / 415 / 490 / 565 / 640
Damage Scaling: 90% Intelligence
ShieldHealth: 50/100/150/200/250
Shield Health Scaling : 12.5% Max Health
Cooldown: 120s
Cost: 80 / 90 / 100 / 110 / 120
