Intro

Quick disclaimer, Pele support is not that good. That being said, she is super fun, and if you have a team wanting to play aggro with you she can really do a lot and be a major problem for the enemies. Let's get into it

This build deals decent damage and survives in the fight for a long while. It also clears camps pretty well which is nice for invades. You will be able to pump out a lot of damage and take a good bit, but you will still burst quickly.

Ability Leveling Order

Basic Attack - Melee

Deal Physical Damage to an enemy in front of you

Stats:

  • Damage Scaling: 100% Strength + 20% Intelligence

Passive - Everlasting Flame

When you drop below 50% Health, gain increased Strength and Lifesteal. This effect has a cooldown

Stats:

  • Strength: 10 + 2 per level
  • Lifesteal: 30%
  • Buff Duration: 6 seconds
  • Cooldown: 30 seconds

Ability 1 - Pyroclast

Fires a magma projectile that deals Physical Damage and grants fuel per enemy hit. At max range the magma persists and fires additional shard projectiles back to you, dealing Physical Damage to enemies. The number of returning shards is dependant on the rank of this ability. Pele has 2 charges of this ability

Stats:

  • Initial Damage: 60/100/140/180/220
  • Initial Damage Scaling: 60% Strength
  • Return Damage: 30
  • Return Damage Scaling: 15% Strength
  • Return Projectiles: 1/2/3/4/5
  • Fuel Restored: 5
  • Range: 9.6 meters
  • Cooldown: 15/14.5/14/13.5/13 seconds
  • Cost: 40/45/50/55/60

Notes:

  • Projectiles pass through and damage all enemies, and pass through walls.

Ability 2 - Eruption

Deal Physical Damage and Knock Up enemies around you. At ranks 3 and 5 this area gains an additional explosion area, which deal Physical Damage and have a smaller Knock Up. Activating this ability while in the aplified state of Magma Rush will cause you to dash a short distance before erupting.

Stats:

  • Inner Ring Damage: 70/115/160/205/250
  • Inner Ring Damage Scaling: 80% Strength
  • Outer Ring Damage: 140/140/140/180/220
  • Outer Ring Damage Scaling: 60% Strength
  • Eruption Areas: 1/1/2/2/3
  • Cooldown: 15 seconds
  • Cost: 60/65/70/75/80

Ability 3 - Magma Rush

Repeatedly deal Physical Damage to nearby enemies and gain Movement Speed while this ability is active. Magma Rush uses Fuel for its duration and has no cooldown. Reactivate this ability to amplify the effect, expending more fuel, but dealng increased Physical Damage and gaining additional Movement Speed

  • Damage: 10/15/20/25/30
  • Damage Scaling: 5%
  • Amped Damage: 20/35/50/65/80
  • Amped Damage Scaling: 20% Strength
  • Movement Speed: 30%
  • Amped Movement Speed: 60%
  • Cooldown: 1 seconds
  • Fuel Cost: 5 per 0.5 seconds
  • Amped Fuel Cost: 10 per 0.5 seconds
  • Cost: 10

Notes:

  • Fuel Regens 5 per second when this ability is deactivated.
  • This ability cannot be activated under 10 fuel
  • This ability triggers no items

Ultimate Ability - Volcanic Rush

Become CC Immune then Dash forward dealing Physical Damage and Slowing the first enemy god hit, and firing a cone attack that deals Physical Damage to other enemies. For the next 10 seconds or 4 attacks, every time you basic attack and enemy, you deal reduced damage and fire a cone attack.

Stats:

  • Damage: 180/265/350/435/520
  • Damage Scaling: 60% Strength
  • Cone Damage: 100/140/180/220/260
  • Cone Damage Scaling: 40% Strength
  • Slow: 20/25/30/35/40%
  • Slow Durationg: 3 seconds
  • Range: 9.7 meters
  • Cooldown: 90 seconds
  • Cost: 100

Notes:

  • This ability triggers items only once across all 5 possible hits.

Gameplay

You wont feel the most tanky as pele in support, and your trades aren't amazing, but you have decent camp clear and you are very mobile. In the early game I would recommend trying to play careful and deal damage through poke and favorable trades then looking to leverage that pressure into invades. You should try to keep an eye on enemy jungle timers and be at those camps every spawn. The more sucessful you are at these invades, the greater the impact you will have going into mid to late game. In late game you can burst out a lot of damage, but you will take a lot too so set up and try to blitz someone really quick.

Conclusion

Pele is a very non traditional support, and does not have a lot of tools to help her team, but can draw a lot of attention and has some good cc and kill threat with the ability to spread damage across their team. Make sure your attention is always on farm and how you can get ahead because a behind pele support does basically nothing.
