Poseidon is a great Mid laner in Smite 2, with some viability as an ADC. He brings speedy Mobility, Crowd Control, and High Damage to any game.

Poseidon's primary strengths lie with his ability to CC chain his enemies, **Burst **down enemy soft targets, and outdistance enemies with his increased Movement Speed.

• When Poseidon successfully hits a basic attack, he gains Tide. He has increased Movement Speed and his abilities do additional damage based on the amount of Tide he has.

• Using abilities decreases Tide.

• Each successful Basic Attack generates 10% Tide.

• Movement Speed: 10 % at Max Tide

• Ability Damage Increase: 15% at Max Tide

Poseidon fires a projectile that deals Magical Damage to the first enemy hit.

• Projectile stops on first target hit and does not pass through walls.

• Successfully hit basic attacks generate Tide.

• Damage Scaling: 100% Strength + 20% Intelligence

• Range: 8.8 meters

• Radius: 0.48 meters

• Poseidon summons a wave in front of him, that deals Magical Damage and Knocks Back enemies.

• If Tidal Surge is activated while Trident is active, send out two additional waves.

• Subsequent wave hits deal 50% less damage

• Tide Cost: -15%

• These waves pass through everything.

• Damage per Rank: 90 / 130 / 170 / 210 / 250

• Damage Scaling: 65% Intelligence

• Range: 12.8 meters

• Radius: 0.56 meters

• Small Wave Radius: 0.28 meters

• Cooldown per Rank: 10 seconds

• Cost per Rank: 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80

• Poseidon activates his Trident, gaining increased Attack Speed, Movement Speed, and Basic Attack Damage. While activated, Tidal Surge and Basic Attacks fire two additional shots.

• The additional Basic Attack shots apply ability damage and trigger ability on-hit effects.

• All Basic Attack shots increase Tide on succesful hits.

• This abilit does not cost Tide.

• Buff Duration: 6 seconds

• Cooldown per Rank: 15 seconds

• Cost per Rank: 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 / 75

• Summon a whirlpool, Crippling, Vortexing, and dealing Magical Damage repeatedly to enemies in an area.

• Tide Cost: -15%

• This ability hits 6 times over 3 seconds.

• Damage Scaling: 15% Intelligence

• Range: 8.8 meters

• Radius: 3.2 meters

• Cooldown: 15 / 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 seconds

• Poseidon summons the Kraken, dealing Magical Damage and Slowing enemies in its area. Enemies in the center area when it spawns take increased Magical Damage and are Stunned and Knocked Up.

• Tide Cost: -20%
