Howdy folks, welcome to my guide for yemoja (yemo) support. Yemo is a very skill based god, but with some patience she can be an absolute menace and generate a ton of pressure for your team. Thanks for being here!

Yemo has a lot of casts and a lot of lockdown. She benefits a ton from cooldown as it helps her regenerate her omi. I personally really like bluestone as it gives you the ability to solo squishies in a 1v1. Other items are just good support items and utility items.

Ability Leveling Order

4>1>3>2

At level 4 you should not spend your skill point unless you absolutely need the 2. This is known as point skipping. The reason for this is that at level 5 you will be able to put a point into your ult, and a third point into 1. The 2 is very weak right now and provides very little shielding or healing so its best to avoid getting this ability until level 6.

Basic Attack - Ranged

Yemoja fires a projectile that deals Magical Damage to the first enemy hit.

Stats:

  • Damage Scaling: 100% + 20% Intelligence
  • Range: 8.8 meters
  • Radius: 0.48 meters

Notes:

  • Yemoja's basic attacks can hit allies with an increased radius, applying her passive omi healing

Passive - Omi

Yemoja uses Omi to cast spells instead of mana. Yemoja starts with 7 Omi and can go up to 10 Omi. Yemoja's abilites and basic attacks can hit allies, providing them a heal

Stats:

  • Healing: 1 + 0.2*level per tick (max 5 per tick at level 20)

Notes:

  • Additional Omi gained at levels 5/10/15
  • Cooldown Reduction increases Omi regeneration

  • Omi Regeneration Buff duration: 10 Seconds at 10 Omi down to 5 Seconds at 0 Omi (0.5 second reduction per missing omi.)

Gameplay

Yemoja is not the simplest god to use, but her kit is really potent. Typically in the early game and laning phase, you should be looking to get a stun with your 1B (Moonstrike) and then press hard by using your 1 as fast as you can to damage and stun lock the enemy. Yemo operates on Omi instead of mana, so you want to be careful and choose when you want to spend omi, since being out of omi makes you essentially useless. Once you are level 5 you can look to trap enemies inside of your ult by connecting the end of your ult to a wall. Additionally you can leave a small space for your enemies to try and escape, and use your 3 at max distance to hook them back in. In the mid game towards late game team fights, you should be looking to hook an enemy in with a max range 3, or positioing to cut a team fight in half with your ult. Remember that while your ult does do damage, it is also two VERY LARGE walls that can be used as just that, walls to seperate enemies from each other, or enemies from your teammates. Otherwise, look for ranged stuns and peel for your team.

Conclusion

Yemo is a crazy blitz character that can really run a game if played well. She is maybe my favorite support to play at the moment and she is so much fun once you get good at her. Being able to pressure squishes with your fast casts is super fun and there is a high skill ceiling for yemo that makes her challenging and interesting to play.
