Introduction
Despite a slight nerf in a B-patch, Lillia is undoubtedly the star of this patch. She shares the spotlight with Syndra, but unlike the Fated champion, is much more flexible (but also more contested). In this guide, we'll see about Lillia in a Sage comp. There will be two other guides, one for Mythic Lillia and another for Peeba Lillia.
Full comp (lvl 9)

The best early set-up to play this comp is when you get a Storyweaver start. Zyra will hold Lillia's item pretty well, though she'll use Shojin better than Blue Buff (but when you'll switch her for Lillia, you'll just have to put back the Shojin on your spare Zyra).
During stage 2, you'll want Zyra, Riven, Garen and Soraka as your base, and either Rek'Sai, Aatrox or Kobuko for your second Bruiser. Obviously, the best situation is when a combination of these champions give you 3 Exalted, as it'll allow you to have a fast experience scaling.
The items on Lillia above are examples, you can give her Adaptive Helm instead of Blue Buff, and the third item is quite flexible as well. It can be an Archangel Staff, another Adaptive Helm, an Hextech Gunblade, a Rabadon's Deathcap or even a Giantslayer. Of course, if you've got Jeweled Lotus as one of your augments, replace Jeweled Gauntlet by another item.
Augments to play this comp

The Altruist and Sage emblem with empower your team with those traits that strengthen all units, not only the wearer, so you'll want to put Altruist Emblem on Zyra since she'll be a secondary DPS unit and thus will heal the ally with the lowest Health, and Sage Emblem on either Soraka or Janna.
The Road less Traveled with give you more experience, which will scale even better if you've got Exalted. Since we'll have three 2-cost units and four 4/5-cost units (five if you can get to level 10 and add Morgana), Little Buddies will help nicely, but don't take it unless you've already got Lillia and Galio at the very least. Ideally, only pick it as your third augment. Alternatively, Two Healthy will also be very nice since, once again, we will have three 2-cost units.
Too much Candy will allow you to roll several times at the start of each stage for free and make your board stronger before the rest of the lobby can. This comp being quite sturdy, Partial Ascension will activate in about every fight, and we'll prefer it over the gold and prismatic variants, since it means other players will also have a silver augment, thus much less powerful than if they had a gold or prismatic board augment.
Powerspike timing
Depending on your early game and the strength of the lobby, you might have lost some HP, and thus not be able to reach level 9. At level 8, you'll be less likely to hit 5-cost units, so you might have neither Wukong nor Rakan. It'll be okay if you bring in more frontline units such as Nautilus, Ornn or Annie. In the latter's case, you can play with 4 Invoker instead of 3 Sage. In that case, check the part below.
