Introduction
In Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Set 13, the Sentinel trait is a powerful choice for players seeking a resilient, defensive strategy. This trait provides a boost in Armor and Magic Resist to the entire team, with Sentinels themselves gaining triple the effect. At two Sentinels, your team receives 10 Armor and Magic Resist, increasing to 25 at four Sentinels, and an impressive 50 at six Sentinels. This extra durability allows your champions to withstand both physical and magical damage, making Sentinel a strong foundation for teams aiming to survive extended battles and wear down opponents.

Final Board Setup
Final Board Setup 2
Game plan
- Stage 2
Lose or Winstreak while holding all Zyra, Lux, Irelia and Singed. Check Academy item to see if you can stack multiple copies.
- Stage 2
Roll to 34-40 gold at level 4 on 3-1 and slowroll for the board for the rest of the stage. Ezreal can be played at level 5 if you need the item.
- Stage 3
Level for Tristana -> Illaoi -> Jayce. Zyra is the better late game carry. If it fits, consider Academy item on Lux 3. The extra damage amp from Academy is often worth.
Conclusion
The Sentinel trait in TFT Set 13 offers a solid solution for players focused on building a durable and hard-to-penetrate lineup. With its Armor and Magic Resist boosts, Sentinel helps your team endure high damage situations, while the triple bonus for Sentinel units makes them especially tanky. Paired with the right champions and traits, Sentinel can be the key to victory, providing the defensive backbone necessary to secure wins in TFT’s ever-evolving battlefield.
