Adverse Effects in TFT Set 14 are built-in effects that come with the abilities of certain champions. They give your team an advantage over opponents without needing to rely on effect-inducing items.

Reduce Armor

Reduce Armor (Sunder) is an effect primarily designed for team compositions that rely on AD-based carries, similar to Last Whisper and Evenshroud.

  • Samira: Each bullet reduces the enemy's Armor by 4 β‡’ Flat Armor reduction.

Note: Flat Armor reduction differs from the Sunder effect provided by Last Whisper and Evenshroud.

Reduce Magic Resist (Shred)

Reduce Magic Resist (Shred), It is essential and well-suited for teams that rely on magic damage (AP), similar to Ionic Spark and Statikk Shiv.

  • Illaoi: Reduces the enemy's Magic Resist by 15 for the rest of the fight β‡’ Flat Magic Resist reduction.
  • Elise: Reduces Magic Resist by 6 for the duration of combat β‡’ Flat Magic Resist reduction.
  • Fiddlesticks: Reduces Magic Resist by 20% β‡’ Percentage-based Magic Resist reduction.
  • Viego: Reduces Magic Resist by 20% for 4 seconds β‡’ Percentage-based Magic Resist reduction.

Reduce Healing

Burn (deals true damage per second based on the target's maximum HP) and Wound (reduces healing received).

In the current version of TFT Set 14, Renekton is the only champion with this effect. Therefore, if you face tanky teams with strong healing and haven't built Red Buff, Morellonomicon, or Sunfire Cape yet, you shouldn't overlook Renekton.

  • Renekton: Burns and reduces the target's healing for 5 seconds.
