1️⃣ Lack of Flexibility in Strategy

One of the most common mistakes is sticking to one composition regardless of the situation. Adapting to available
champions and items is crucial. Learn to recognize when to change your strategy based on what appears in the shop and what units and items your opponents are gathering.

Tip: Observe what synergies are available and be ready to adjust your strategy to make the most of what you have.

While playing, you have to be flexible - adapt to what the game gives you. Forcing the composition is often a good idea.

2️⃣ Poor Unit Positioning

Improper unit positioning can cost you the victory. Make sure that:

Tanks are positioned in the front to absorb damage.

Fragile units (e.g., mages and marksmen) are in the back, protected from direct attacks.

Tip: Regularly change the positions of your units to adapt to the changing compositions of your opponents.

In this example, we should move Garen and Riven to the frontline and Sivir and Zyra to the backline on both sides of Kayle.

3️⃣ Improper Gold Spending

Managing gold is an art. Beginners often:

Spend gold too quickly, losing out on future interest.

Save too long without strengthening their team at key moments.

Balancing between saving and spending gold is key to success.

Tip: Try to maintain a balance between saving and investing in upgrading units and levels.

In this example we see that the player has much too much gold. He should spend it keeping only "50" and investing the rest in leveling or improving units.

Synergies between units can significantly enhance their effectiveness. Each unit has traits and classes that work well with others. Make sure you use these synergies to maximize your team’s potential.

Tip: Study synergies and experiment with different combinations to find the most effective setups.

When you ignore synergies, you will never be able to dominate your opponents. (the exception is the situation where you have the "Build Different" augment.

5️⃣ Improper Use of Items

Using items on the wrong champions or creating suboptimal item combinations can weaken your team. Learn the best items for your key champions and how to combine them effectively.

Tip: Regularly check which items are meta and how to best utilize them in the current patch.

In this example, the built item "Jeweled Gauntlet" is not a valid item for a unit such as "Rek'Sai". This is a Tank that needs items that increase immunity or health.

6️⃣ Lack of Late-Game Planning

Planning for the late game is crucial. Have a plan for the final rounds to survive and dominate the last fights. For example, prepare to upgrade your units to 3-star versions and choose the right items.

Tip: Always have a plan B and try to anticipate how to develop your team as the game progresses.

Monitoring opponents' compositions and adapting your strategy is essential for success. Observe what your opponents are doing and adjust your plans to counter their strategies.

Tip: Use the opponent's preview window to better understand their strategies and respond accordingly.
