Hello! I'm Frobei and I've been Challenger multiple sets (Set 9 and 9.5 included)!
I had the opportunity to play many games on Set 10 before it goes live as I'm training to compete at the highest level for the TFT Vegas Open in December!
Check this guide to learn how Ezreal is freaking strong and most people don't even try to play him. I expect this comp to be even stronger next patch after he gets some undeserved buffs.
Before we get into details. I only heard about this comp the day before I wrote this guide and I decided to give it a try multiple times. The first two games were me trying to figure out how this comp works and making tons of mistakes. The last game was when I had the perfect setup and I destroyed the game after my Heartsteel cash out, and it wasn't even close, you can check the game stats, I didn't lose a single round once I hit Ezreal.
LEVEL 8 BOARD (around Stage 4)

Before I show the very late game with the highest cap board you can make, I think it's important to show you how you want to stabilize your board at level 8 (around stage 4). This comp requires you to have a side carry like TF because it fits the comp very well and gives tons of traits for you to value Jazz even more.
The comp also requires many items BUT since you are playing Heartsteel you will often get more items than the average game. Your Heartsteel cash out won't be big during stage 4 because you will most likely win all your rounds, but it's free gold and items so why not take them as well?
LEVEL 9 MAXXED OUT BOARD (Stage 6)

After your level 8 transition, you should save your gold to push level 9 and add as many 5-cost units as possible. Here you must play flexibly based on the headliner you find and the units you hit. There's no real science, fit all the Jazz units, build a strong frontlane, and get as many traits as possible to claim your first place. Ps: You can replace Ezreal by Jhin ONLY if you have a mana item for Jhin
PERFECT MID GAME SCENARIO

The perfect scenario would be for you to have 5 Heartsteel during stage 3 so you can cash out big rewards during stage 4. Your main tank you be Ekko, AD stuff goes to Aphelios and AP stuff goes to Senna. By lose streaking you'd also have higher chances to find a Jazz emblem during carousel moments.
The average scenario is when you have only 3 Heartsteel or when you have a random early / mid game that lets you have enough gold and health.
BEST EZREAL ITEMS (in order)

BEST TWISTED FATE ITEMS (in order)

AUGMENTS I REALLY LIKE TO HAVE FOR THIS COMP

You will most likely lose tons of health if you are opening with Heartsteel. So anything that can give you back some health like Tinay Titans, more money or more power based on missing health like Vampirism are great.
But don't focus onmy on those as they are many powerful combat augments like Inspiring Epitaph or Jeweled Lotus.
BEST HEADLINERS

The best headliner is probably Blitz (Disco then Sentinel) because he's the most flexible headliner and can be easily replaced later by a 5 cost headliner. Ezreal (Heartsteel) is the second best because you can keep 3 Heartsteel without playing Ksante or you can keep 5 Heartsteel a bit longer for bigger cash outs. Then it's TF (Disco) > Ezreal (Big Shot) > TF (Dazzler) > Sett (Heartsteel)
