Hey! I am Frobei, I have been Challenger multiple sets in a row and I've been making TFT guides for years so stick around or follow me for more content!

This articles is about the augment "Everything Must Go" and how to play it properly to make an army of 4-cost 3-star units!

This augment allows you to buy units for free but on the other hand, you can't sell them for money either (even though there's a trick to "cheat" a little bit). It allows you to spend your gold only for EXP and shop refreshes and expensive units are not expensive for you at all.

I do expect this augment to be heavily nerfed or even disabled in the next patch, so play it before it's too late!

Stats about Everything Must Go

Stats from tactics.tools on Diamand+ elo
Stats from tactics.tools on Diamand+ elo

First of all, let's talk about stats. The stats shown above are from Diamond+ elo in all regions (except China) and as you can see, this augment is the 3rd best augment if you look at the First Place win rate. However, it doesn't involve a specific comp to play like Fortune or Porcelain.

If we look closer at the data, we can see players have a much better average placement if they pick Everything Must Go at stage 2-1 or 3-2. However the average placement at stage 4-2 is bad and there's a reason for it. If you pick it that late you will not benefit from its most powerful effect:** the economy snowball.**

The Trick You Must Know About This Augment

As I said earlier, you can't sell your units for money if you have this augment. However, there are a few rounds when you can force the game to sell units and get money from it.

During PVE rounds, you must make sure your bench is full so when you loot units from the orbs, they will automatically convert in gold. This forces the game to sell the units you were supposed to drop (but you don't have space) and give you their value in gold (see image above).

How to Play Everything Must Go to finis first with many 3 star units.

The most relevant strategy to use while playing this augment is to play fast 8 comps. This means you will want to rush your levels by playing the strongest board possible while saving as much HP as possible until your reach lvl 8 with enough gold to roll to find your 4 cost champions.

If you don't exactly know how to manage your econ and rush your levels to play fast 8 comps then I suggest you read my article about economy and leveling strategies: https://www.tacter.com/tft/guides/how-optimize-your-economy-in-tft-set-11-economy-guide-3784208a

Since you can create a board that costs 0 gold, you can easily put as many 2 star and 3 cost units during stage 2 without suffering from loss of interest gold. This allows you to create a strong board to aim for a win streak without losing money from not reahcing interested gold. This is why this augment is so good to get a stage 2-1 or 3-2 but it loses its benefits at stage 4-2.

But now you know how to play it, it's also important to know what comp to play it. Since you will have an unfair advantage in terms of economy, you will want to cap your board as much as you can by making 3-star 4-cost units (or even 5 cost units!) but you have to be careful not to be contested. Since there are only 10 units per 4-cost in the pool, if you try to make Kaisa 3 and other people are playing Kaisa then you'll never be able to find her. So you must aim for uncontested 4 cost units in the meta to have chance to make any 3 stars!

This tier list shows what units you really want to prioritize to make 3-stars. Annie is not only the best 4-cost 3-star unit in the game but she is also often left untouched by the players so it's much easier to find her.

On the other hand, Kaisa, Kayn and Galio are way too contested and there's almost no chance for you to find 9 copies of them to upgrade them.
