Itemization Guide
Early game
In the early game, you’ll need to start with standard lineups. You can play a Chosen Mystic Janna combined with 2 Brawlers and 2 Enlightened units. From there, continue building a lineup with related traits to maintain your health and accumulate as much gold as possible. At the same time, focus on leveling up rather than upgrading your units. Alternatively, you can use Cultists, Duelists, or Vanguards and sustain them into the late game.
Level up to 4 early if you want to start a win streak. Proceed to Level 5 after the first carousel round to maintain your current win streak. If you feel your lineup is weak, you can temporarily accept a losing streak for a few rounds to save up gold.
Mid game
In the mid-game, you should transition into a Fortune lineup to generate gold and equip your late-game carries. Keep only the 2 Brawlers from the early game and start searching for Fortune units. Once you activate the Fortune trait, you can choose to play for a win streak or a loss streak, depending on your preference.
At round 3-2, aim to reach Level 6 so you're not at a disadvantage compared to your opponents. Assemble the strongest lineup you have. Quickly search for Chosen Fortune units to activate the highest tier of this trait. Whether you’re on a win streak or loss streak, having 6 Fortune units will provide more benefits than just 3 Fortune units.
Late Game
In the late game, once you reach Level 7, the chances of 5-cost champions appearing increase significantly. At this point, continue with your existing lineup and add any 5-cost champions you find. There's no need to rush upgrading them—just getting them to 2-star is enough to include them in your team.
Don’t stay at Level 7 for too long; continue leveling up to Level 8 as quickly as possible. At Level 8, your chances of finding 5-cost champions will be much higher. However, don’t rush to search for 5-cost units at Level 8. If necessary, level up directly to Level 9 to make it easier to find them.
Tips and Advice
If you’re the first player to reach Level 9 in the game, your chances of completing the lineup with all 5-cost champions are very high. This is because the likelihood of other players finding 5-cost units will be extremely low, if not nonexistent.
Only play the "Expensive" lineup in TFT Set 4.5 when you’ve accumulated a significant amount of gold. If your economy is tight, switch to a different lineup to avoid finishing in the bottom ranks.
Depending on the items you receive, choose your primary carry carefully. Make sure your chosen carry can maximize the power of your team.
The "Expensive" lineup doesn’t require specific Chosen units, so prioritize selecting Chosen for your main carries to enhance their effectiveness.
