Hey! I am Frobei, I have been Challenger multiple sets in a row and I've been making TFT guides for years so stick around or follow me for more content!
This guide features Invoker Lillia, a comp that is powerful but requires a few transitions to get there. So here's how to play it!
Full Late Game Comp
Invoker is an extremely good late game trait because it has many valuable late game units: Lillia, Annie and Azir. Then it's often better to fill this comp with more late game relevant units like Udyr, Lissandra, etc. It's also great to play 7 Mythic with an emblem if you can have one!
Gameplan
GAMEPLAN This is a 4 cost comp so here's how to play it:
- Consider this comp only if you have a stabilized early game where don't lose too much HP and you find items for Lillia
- Play stage 2 and 3 "normally" (try to win most fights and build your econ as much as you can)
- Push lvl 7 at stage 4-1
- Push lvl 8 at stage 4-5
- Roll for your 4 cost upgrades
- Rebuild your econ and plan to push lvl 9 to find 5 cost units
If you want to know more about how to optimize your economy and use it efficiently for a 4 cost comp, I have a much deeper post here: https://www.tacter.com/tft/guides/how-optimize-your-economy-in-tft-set-11-economy-guide-3784208a
Lvl 6 Stabilized board (example)
Notes: this is just an example that helps you have an easy transition but be careful because this is an early-game example and you will need something stronger to survive the mid-game and reach lvl 8 with enough HP and gold to find the 4 cost units.
Best Items For Lillia
Even with 4 Invokers, you want to have a mana generation item on Lillia (Blue buff being the best) because she deals much more damage every 3 casts. However, if you happen to be playing 6 Invoker instead of 4 then you can avoid playing a mana generation item and aim for another offensive item instead.
If you want to know exactly what items you want to build for every carry in the game, check this cheat sheet I'm updating weekly: https://www.tacter.com/tft/guides/best-items-for-all-champions-in-tft-set-11-36d59dfe
