How to Play the Veigar Elderwood Comp in TFT Set 4.5

This comp is build around a team full of Elderwood with Veigar as your backline carry and Annie as your main tank with an Elderwood Emblem in the frontline who you both want to 3 star!

This comp rolls gold above 50 to look for 3-star 3-cost champion(s) at level 7 or play Fast 8 with Aurelion Sol as the main carry with a Elderwood Emblem.

When to Play Veigar Elderwood?

• If you find a Chosen Elderwood (Veigar or Nunu)
• If you see any Elderwood or Mage Augments (Emblem)

1. Early game

• Play around Elderwood/Mages
• Level up to 4 at stage 2-1
• If you get Veigar early, prioritize items on him ASAP to get kills / stacks.

2. Mid game

• Try to activate 6 Elderwood
• Level up to 6 at stage 3-2

3. Late game

• If you are committing to Veigar Reroll, roll on 7 for Veigar 3. Otherwise, Fast 8 and look to stabilize around Asol and 6 Elderwood.
• Level up to 10: You can play 9 Elderwood and 5 Mage.

• Clump your Elderwoods around your Keepers
• Carry Veigar if you find him early with Mana items, but only original Veigar will keep stacks so don't swap for Chosen if you have a lot of kills already.
• If you hit 2 Ornns, you can farm multiple Artifact items in 4 rounds. Chosen: Elderwood Veigar > Mage Asol > 5 Cost.
