[Set 10 PBE] Mastering Superfan opener (Part 1)

Unlike many guides that show a level 8, 9 board, I will guide you to play around an opener, which is an easier way to learn TFT

We all new to set 10, so I will use some keywords and place champions into group to help on memorizing, I don't include positioning (not the same every game) but in case anything special, I'll remind

Play around your starting Headliner for saving HP

• Fast 8 playstyle: level up, sell current Headliner in PVE round then roll for new Headliner carry on next round (1)
• Reroll playstyle: get a good Headliner early then play around it, not recommended to force comp then find headliner carry later (2)

In this set it is much harder to roll for 4 cost at lv 7 (33% lower chance) and 5 cost at lv 8 (25% lower chance). So my guide assume we can't find an ideal 4 cost at lv 7 and 5 cost at lv 8

(1) When round start if you already got a Headliner, it tooks 4 rolls to appear the next one in shop. Reroll 2 cost at lv 6, 3 cost at lv 7, fast 8 for 4 cost Headliner carry

(2) In lastest PBE patch, any champion with less half of its copies left in the pool can't appear as Headliners

For this specific topic, notice that if you sold Headliner then not be able to buy a new one, Superfan buff is useless, in this case temporarily replace superfan with synergic champs you have rolled

Superfan is the most versatile opener to play with, it's recommended to learn this trait first for set 10

This post walkthroughts the most popular variant of this opener: K/DA, Spellweaver and Lulu reroll

Go for this path when you have at least 1 tear

Normally at lv 6 roll a bit to stablilize your board

There are 2 options to play with [Superfan + Ekko] depend on your headliner:

• KDA headliner: Kai'Sa & Seraphine
• Spellweaver headliner: Lulu & Gragas (only 25% Lulu headliner at lv 6)

Memorizing keyword: K/DA with [Superfan + Ekko]

Items priority:

• Blue Buff/Shojin and Infinity Edge for Ahri and Akali
• Hextech Gunblade: this team doesn't have a 4 cost tank
• Currently Gargoyle is weak, you can put any tank item on him (BV, DC)

Superfan will give Akali HoJ, Rabadon for Ahri

Headliner Akali > Ahri (better Superfan synergy), but play which on you got first to save HP

Don't play Spellweaver headliner Ahri then go for 5 KDA 5 Spellweaver (except you nearly die), 7 KDA or 7 Spellweaver is much better

Special cases:

• Lv 9 (or +1 slot): Gnar (Akali headliner), Karthus, Sona (healing version) or tank like Illaoi, Yorick (3)
• K/DA emblem (rod) on Ekko, replace Kai'Sa with one of these (3)

Memorizing keyword: 6 Spellweavers with Lilia + Bruiser

Items priority:

• Blue Buff, Gunblade and Sunfire: this team need to survive as long as possible for Spellweaver stack, so tank items/anti heal for frontline are necessary
• Spark/Shiv: this team mostly deals magic dmg

Lv 9: replace Zac with 2* Illaoi + Ziggs

Keep Annie in case you can't find Sona

Memorizing keyword: 6 Spellweavers with Lillia

Usually Ekko is highly contested. After got 3* Lulu hit lv 8 to find Sona, Ziggs rather than staying at lv 7
