How to Play Enforcer — TFT Set 13: Into the Arcane

In TFT Set 13, the Enforcer trait introduces a new way to control high-health enemies and amplify your team’s offensive power. At the start of combat, Enforcers gain a shield and increase their damage, marking the highest health enemy unit as "Wanted." When a Wanted enemy is defeated, Enforcers get a temporary attack speed boost, enhancing their impact on the battlefield. As you invest in more Enforcer units, the trait's power scales significantly, from increasing health and damage amplification to even confiscating all enemy items at the highest level. Enforcers can therefore be the key to shutting down tough enemies while boosting your team's tempo.

The Enforcers work together to take down a single, wanted target. It is another trait where you can click on every Enforcer, slap them on the board, and have a solid board. On top of having some of the favorites from Arcane Vi and Caitlyn it is likely to be one of the more popular traits in set 13!

  1. Enforcer Synergy

Here are the additional traits of the Enforcer champions that give the opportunity to create trait webs:

  • Maddie (1G) – Sniper
  • Steb (1G) – Bruiser
  • Camille (2G) – Ambusher
  • Loris (3G) – Sentinel
  • Twisted Fate (3G) – Quickstriker
  • Vi (4G) – Pit Fighter
  • Caitlyn (5G) – Sniper
  1. The Enforcer Trait

The Enforcer Trait is a vertical trait that has options at 2,4,6,8, and even 10. In most cases, it will best to add as many Enforcers as you can as they all benefit from the trait’s bonus attack speed. This wide trait web also allows plenty of splash options such as Bruiser and Sentinel. An additional note is that Maddie and Caitlyn both have sniper trait which means that Maddie will often be on final boards to activate Caitlyn’s sniper trait as she will be the main carry of the board.

TFT Enforcer Champions

  1. Maddie (1G) – Enforcer + Sniper

Maddie fires 6 shots towards the farthest enemy that deals (AD) physical damage to the first enemy they hit. Maddie has a high mana cost which in order to cast she will need a Shojin or else she will be stuck to just auto attacking. Because she deals damage to the farthest enemy, you will want to place her in the opposite corner of your opponent’s carry. Also note that there will be times you will want to put her in the non-corner as well as you don’t want an opponent’s Maddie to snipe yours.

  1. Steb (1G) – Enforcer + Bruiser

Steb’s passive is when he heals the 2 closest allies. His active is healing (AP) and strike target for (AP) magic damage. Steb’s heal and bruiser trait will make him a strong early game unit but he will likely fall off as a 1 cost bruiser with healing.

  1. Camille (2G) – Enforcer + Ambusher

Camille kicks the target dealing (AD & AP) adaptive damage and healing for the damge dealt. This makes Camille’s items rather flexible overall which is nice to be able to item hold in the mid game with her.

Note: Adaptive Damage: Uses the damage type the target resists less

  1. Loris (3G) – Enforcer + Sentinel

Loris gains (AP) shield for 4 seconds. It redirects a percent of damage taken by adjacent allies. When it expires, deal (AP) magic damage in a cone. Loris is likely the premier tank of this comp while tying in the tank trait Sentinel such as Rumble or Illaoi.

  1. Twisted Fate (3G) – Enforcer + Quickstriker

Twisted Fate throws 3 cards at different targets.

Blue Card: Restores (AP) Health to the lowest Health ally. Red Card: Deals (AP) magic damage to the largest circle of enemies. Yellow Card: Deals (AP) magic damage to target and Stun them for 1 second.

Twisted Fate is one of the possible carries outside of Vi and Caitlyn in the Enforcer comp. The Quickstriker trait is also easy to tie in the Enforcer comp. Twisted Fate and Loris have the option to be rerolled together.

  1. Vi (4G) – Enforcer + Pit Fighter

Vi gains (AP) shield for 3 seconds, then Stun target for 1.5 seconds. Vi slams the target down, dealing (AD) physical damage to them and causing a shockwave in their row. Enemies hit take (AD) physical damage and are briefly knocked up. Vi is a melee carry with plenty of crowd control and which makes her solid. Funny enough her Pit Fighter trait makes her best paired with Sevika who doesn’t quite get along with the Enforcers.

  1. Caitlyn (5G) – Enforcer + Sniper

Caitlyn enters a sniper’s stance and calls in an airship that circles the battlefield dropping bombs at a random cluster of enemies over a duration. Bombs deal (AD AP) physical damage in a one-hex circle. Whenever an enemy is caught in the epicenter of an Air Raid blast, reduce their Armor and Magic Resist by 20 and fire a shot towards them, dealing (AD) physical damage.

Caitlyn has shred and sunder in the form of AOE which makes it hard for her not to be strong in the late game. Caitlyn’s mana isn’t too high, but a Shojin along with additional AD items will likely be the build she uses in order to dish out the most damage.

Best TFT Enforcer Augments

In general, Augments like Crest and Crown will always be good, but there are definitely more notable ones to explore and discover. As we make our way to the PBE, we’ll be sure to test a variety of combinations and update this article with what we find.
