🔥 TFT Set 14 Guide: How to Play Cypher🔥

📌TFT Cypher is the economy trait of TFT Set 14. It works similar to past cash out win out traits but it has the additional twist that it is pre determined 4 different times when you can cash out.

This means that once you choose not to cash out that you are required to wait until a certain stage to have a chance to cash out again. This will force players to plan ahead and make unique decisions in order to get the cash out they want.📌

📖How TFT Cypher Works📖

⚠️1. Cypher Trait Bonus

Gain Intel by losing combat, increased for loss streaks. Gain a small amount for killing enemies.

You may trade your Intel for loot one time on round 3-3, 3-7, 4-3, 4-7, or 5-5.

After trading Intel, Cypher champions gain Attack Damage and Ability Power.

✔️ (3) 1x Intel, 25% AD & AP

✔️ (4) 1.5x Intel, 35% AD & AP

✔️ (5) 2x Intel, 50% AD & AP

⚠️2. Cypher Synergy

Here are the additional traits of the Cypher champions that give the opportunity to create trait webs:

✔️ Vi (1G) – Vanguard

✔️ LeBlanc (2G) – Strategist

✔️ Draven (3G) – Rapidfire

✔️ Galio (3G) – Bastion

✔️ Zed (4G) – Slayer

⚠️3. The Cypher Trait

Cypher makes the economy trait of this set interesting as it doesn’t require a spat to get the full cap of it. Oftentimes, there were spats that would be needed to get the reach part of the trait. However, Cypher has 5 units and caps out at 5 slots and one of the required champions isn’t a 5 cost champion. That isn’t to say that spat will never be helpful as a spat will allow you to collect Intel faster. I am excited to see how this trait plays out.

⚠️Augments related to the Cypher trait

✔️ Liquidate

✔️Hostile Takeover

✔️What Doesn't Kill You

✔️Calculated Loss

🎯How to build a team composition with Cypher🎯

🔥The Cypher trait has two ways to build a team composition:

  • 6 Bastion Zeri carry
  • 3 Cypher Flex
  1. How to Play: 6 Bastion Zeri carry
  • Early game: Use 3 Cypher (Draven, Vi, Leblanc), play loss-streaking to accumulate Intel
  • Mid game: Use 4 or 5 Cyphers to continue loss-streaking.
  • Late game: At round 4-7, collect Intel and transition into a 6 Bastion comp with Zeri as the main backline carry.

⚠️ Notes:

  • Continuously check the lobby and position Draven to counter the enemy carry.
  • Keep your right-hand movements quick and use hotkeys efficiently.🔥

🔥2. How to Play: 3 Cypher Flex

⚠️ When to play:

  • Maps: Crabs
  • Hack mechanism: increase HP at round 1-4
  • Hack mechanism: Select two Augments at the same time.
  • There are multiple Cypher units
  • There is an Augment related to Cypher or an Augment used for loss-streaking (What Doesn't Kill You, Calculated Loss,...).

The gameplay is similar to the above, but the team composition at Level 8 will be different.

⚠️ Note: When reaching Level 9 or 10, add a 5-cost tank unit like Garen, Zac, or Kobuko.🔥
