At the 2024 TFT Macao Open — the pinnacle event of this year’s competitive circuit — Riot Games unveiled their plans for the game in the upcoming year. Fans can anticipate multiple set revivals, a new PvE mode, customizable lobbies, and more. Here’s an overview of what to expect from Teamfight Tactics in 2025.

The first revival of 2025 will reintroduce the Fates: Festival of Beasts Set, originally launched in January 2021. This Lunar New Year-themed set features elements inspired by East Asian culture and mythology. TFT players can look forward to a brand-new Player versus Environment (PvE) mode in 2025. This mode, arriving in the summer as part of Set 14 or Set 15, will pit players against computer-controlled enemies in a unique challenge.

While details are scarce, the mode is expected to retain the auto-battler mechanics central to TFT. However, it remains unclear whether it will support multiplayer gameplay or adhere to the standard eight-player format.
