Bangboo can Skills or Chain Attacks.

Bangboo Skills

Bangboo automatically uses their skills in stages without player intervention. Currently, there are 20 Bangboo in the game: 8 S-rank and 12 A-rank, each with active skills and bonus abilities. Some Bangboo also have Chain Attacks.

Bangboo can be divided into DPS and Support types based on their skill effects. DPS Bangboo actively attack, dealing damage and helping Agents accumulate Anomaly Buildup. Support Bangboo provide healing, control effects, etc., creating a better environment for Agents to deal damage.

Bangboo Chain Attacks

What is a Chain Attack? When enemies are in a Stunned state, using a heavy attack on them triggers a Chain Attack, during which enemies stop attacking and become more vulnerable. Normal enemies can trigger this once, elite enemies twice, and bosses three times. To learn more about Chain Attack mechanics, check out this detailed guide.

Bangboo can coordinate with Agents to release Chain Attacks during battles, dealing higher damage and applying corresponding Anomaly Buildup. Note that [Bangboo Chain Attacks] do not consume the current round’s [Chain Attack] trigger count, so feel free to use them.

Not all Bangboo have Chain Attacks. You can check if a Bangboo has Chain Attacks at the bottom of the Bangboo interface.

How to Choose Bangboo

Choosing the right Bangboo for your team depends on their trigger conditions. For example, [Sharkboo] gains extra effects when there are 2 or more Ice characters and its active skill deals Ice damage, making it ideal for Ice teams. We will match Bangboo according to this idea.

Anomaly Shock Team:

Composed of Grace, Rina, and Anton, this team attacks by inflicting Eletric Anomaly and frequently triggering Shock damage. The team includes 3 Electric characters and 2 Belobog Heavy Industries characters. Therefore, we should choose Bangboo related to the Electric and Belobog Heavy Industries.

Bangboo Choices:

Safety: Increases Chain Attack damage when there are Belobog Heavy Industries characters in the team and doubles the effect on enemies with Burn and Shock anomalies.

Plugboo: When there are ≥2 Electric characters, Bangboo Chain Attacks accumulate more Anomaly Buildup, helping the team quickly put enemies into anomaly states for efficient damage output.

Electroboo: Similar to Plugboo but with lower values, can be used if Plugboo is unavailable.

Ice Team:

Composed of Ellen, Lycaon, and Soukaku, all Ice characters with 2 Victoria Housekeeping Co. characters. When enemies are Stunned, they trigger Chain Attacks for high damage output. With the entire team being Ice, it's easy to trigger Ice Anomaly to reduce depletion of [Stunned] enemies' [Daze] and extend the DPS duration.

Bangboo Choices:

Sharkboo: Accumulates Ice Anomaly Buildup, increases Bangboo Chain Attack Anomaly Buildup when there are ≥2 Ice characters.

Butler: Restores energy to the target character, increases energy restoration when there are Victoria Housekeeping Co. characters in the team.

Penguinboo: Similar to Sharkboo but with lower values, can be used if Sharkboo is unavailable.

Fire Team:

Composed of Soldier 11, Koleda, and Ben, all Fire characters with 2 Belobog Heavy Industries characters. The core of this team is putting enemies into Stunned states, providing vulnerability for subsequent attacks. The entire team being Fire makes it easy to put enemies into Fire vulnerability and apply Burn.

Bangboo Choices:

Safety: Increases Bangboo Chain Attack damage when there are Belobog Heavy Industries characters in the team, doubles the effect on enemies with Burn and Shock.

Rocketboo: Accumulates Fire Anomaly Buildup, increases Bangboo Chain Attack Anomaly Buildup when there are ≥2 Fire characters.

Cryboo: Similar to Rocketboo but with lower values, can be used if Rocketboo is unavailable.

Physical Team:

Composed of Piper, Nekomata/Corin/Billy, and another Support character, including 2 Physical characters. This team focuses on using anomaly states for damage output.

Bangboo Choices:

Bangvolver: Triggers bonus abilities and increases Bangboo Chain Attack Anomaly Buildup when there are ≥2 Physical characters.

Bagboo: Increases Bangboo Chain Attack damage when there are Attack characters in the team.

Cunning Hares Team:

Composed of Nicole, Anby, and Billy, all Cunning Hares characters, obtainable through main storyline. Early on, Anby attacks to put enemies into Stunned states, then switches to Nicole for support, followed by Billy for damage output.

Bangboo Choices:

Amillion: Deals physical damage, increases Bangboo Chain Attack damage when there are ≥2 Cunning Hares characters, and the fewer enemies on the field, the more significant the effect, making it perfect for a Cunning Hares team.
