While active, it increases the shield bearer's interrupt resistance and attack power. Brief lingering effect after shield expires.

Ability Level Priority:

For Caesar’s ability priority, first level her core skill, second level her special attack, third level her chain attack, fourth level her dodge, fifth level her assist, and lastly, level her basic attack.

W-Engines:

For Caesar’s W-Engine options, obviously her signature W-Engine, Tusks of Fury, is her best. It has a base attack of 714 and Impact of 18%. Tusks of Fury’s effect enhances the shield value provided by Caesar. When any squad member triggers an interrupt or perfect dodge, all squad members receive a boost to their damage and an increase in daze dealt for a set duration. An A-Rank W-Engine option is Peacekeeper—Specialized. It has 625 base attack and 25% attack percent. Another A-Rank W-Engine option is Original Transmorpher. It has a base attack of 595 and H.P. of 25%. Its effect boosts Caesar's maximum H.P. When Caesar is attacked, her impact is increased for a set period of time. A battlepass W-Engine option is Spring Embrace. It has a base attack of 595 and an attack percent of 25%. Its effect reduces Caesar's damage taken. When attacked, Caesar's energy generation rate increases for a set duration. If Caesar switches off-field, this buff is transferred to the new on-field character with its duration refreshed.

Drive discs:

For Caesar’s drive disc set options, obviously, her signature drive disc set, Proto Punk, is her best. Its 2-Piece effect increases the shield effect provided. Its 4-Piece Effect states that when any squad member triggers a defensive assist or evasive assist, all squad members deal increased damage for a certain duration. While you are farming for Proto Punk, you could probably run Swing Jazz. Its 2-Piece Effect increases energy regeneration. Its 4-Piece Effect states that when a squad member launches a Chain Attack or Ultimate, all squad members deal increased damage for a certain duration. You could probably also use Soul Rock. Its 2-Piece Effect increases Caesar’s Defense. Its 4-Piece Effect states that when Caesar is attacked by an enemy and loses H.P., they take reduced damage for a short duration. This effect can trigger once every specified interval.

Drive Disc Main Stats:

For drive disc 4, use either an H.P. percent main stat or a defense percent main stat. Similarly, for drive disc 5, use either an H.P. percent main stat or a defense percent main stat. For drive disc 6, use an Impact main stat because Caesar’s shield is based off her Impact. If her shield does not take into account impact stats from drive discs, then use either an H.P. percent, a defense percent, or an energy regeneration percent main stat.

Drive Disc Sub Stats:

For drive disc substats, prioritize H.P. percent and defense percent equally.

Recommended Endgame Stats:

Caesar’s recommended endgame stats at level 60 are two thousand five hundred attack, eleven thousand H.P., and eight hundred defense.

Bangboo options:

For Bangboo options, you can use the A-Rank Avocaboo, which recovers H.P. The S-Rank Bangvolver deals physical damage and accumulates physical anomaly buildup. Its passive is that when your squad includes two or more Physical Attribute characters, Bangboo's Chain Attack inflicts significantly increased Anomaly Buildup. An alternative A-Rank option to Bangvolver is Luckyboo which has the effect that when your squad includes two or more Physical Attribute characters, your Active Skill inflicts additional Anomaly Buildup, and the duration of its continuous strikes is extended. A shield-based Bangboo is Paperboo, its effect is that when your squad includes at least one defense character, Bangboo Chain Attack generates a shield for all squad members. The shield's strength is based on the number of enemies hit, up to a maximum percentage of Paperboo's maximum HP.

Teammates:

Caesar has several physical teammates options, including Nekomata, Corin, Billy, Jane, and Piper. Caesar and Lucy is the duo that can be used with all of the physical characters. Caesar, Jane, and Burnice are the best team for Jane. Ellen’s best team is Ellen, Caesar, and Soukaku. Caesar can also work with Zhu Yuan.

Mindscape Cinema level 1 vs Signature W-Engine

If you are a free-to-play player, Mindscape Cinema levels are not important. In fact, I would recommend pulling Caesar’s Signature W-Engine before Mindscape Cinema level 1 because Tusks of Fury increases Caesar’s shield value and increases all allies’ damage and daze. However, I think Mindscape Cinema level 1 is comparable because it makes it so that Caesar no longer needs to use an EX Special Attack to get a shield, but rather she only needs to enter combat to provide it. With the shield active, enemies suffer attribute damage resistance reduction.
