Video Guide:

Introduction:

Evelyn is a S-Rank Fire character using the Attack W-Engine Type. Evelyn is a balanced fighter who excels in both close-quarters combat and ranged attacks. Her versatility makes her a valuable asset in any team composition, allowing her to adapt to various combat scenarios with ease.

Kit:

Evelyn’s basic attacks: Let's break down Evelyn's basic attack arsenal. Evelyn has a primary attack called the Qualified Martial Technique, which serves as the foundation for her combat style. Evelyn uses basic hand-to-hand combat to strike the enemy. This is a physical damage attack, best used at close range against single targets. After hitting the enemy, Evelyn can switch to another attack variation, giving you flexibility in your combos.

Evelyn’s basic attack variations: After performing the Qualified Martial Technique, Evelyn can shift into different attack variations based on your strategy. Let's explore these variations. With air kick, Evelyn leaps up and delivers a rising kick to the enemy. This is a physical damage attack, ideal for close range and single targets. It can also serve as an anti-air move. After a successful hit, the next basic attack changes form, allowing you to choose the next move from the Attack Selection Menu.

Spirit Backstab allows Evelyn to swiftly reposition behind the enemy and land a precise backstab. Another physical damage attack at close range; this move focuses on single targets with a back attack. Similar to Air Kick, hitting with Spirit Backstab allows you to open the Attack Selection Menu for your next move.

Shooting allows Evelyn to draw a firearm and shoot the target. This is a ranged physical damage attack, perfect for engaging single targets from a distance. Successfully hitting an enemy with a shot opens up the Attack Selection Menu for your next basic attack variation.

Moving on to Evelyn's Special Attack, which adds a whole new layer of depth to her combat style.

With her special attack, Dancing Blade, Evelyn gracefully advances and performs a spinning slash, reminiscent of a dance step, striking the enemy. This deals physical damage, can break enemy defenses or guards, and may apply special status effects. Under certain conditions, Dancing Blade can evolve into Overflowing Charm, increasing its damage and adding effects like confusion or defensive debuffs on enemies.

With her EX Special Attack, Overflowing Charm, Evelyn's Special Attack is strengthened, dealing greater damage and inflicting additional debuffs such as confusion or reducing enemy defenses.

With Sharp Thorn, Evelyn thrusts her blade forward, executing a piercing attack. This has high penetration power and can bypass certain defenses, inflict bleed, or disrupt enemy actions.

Dodging is a crucial aspect of Evelyn's mobility and defense. Let's look at her dodge abilities.

With Evade, Evelyn performs a quick evasive maneuver to avoid incoming attacks. Proper timing can negate damage and potentially set up a counterattack opportunity.

With Divine Flash Attack: Haze, Evelyn executes a divine-level flash step, leaving an afterimage. After a perfect dodge, she follows up with a swift, powerful counterattack dealing heavy damage. Optimal timing is crucial for maximizing this move.

Instant Stab: Immediately after a successful dodge, Evelyn can perform a rapid stab. This deals extra damage, interrupts enemy actions, and improves Evelyn's positioning on the battlefield.

Evelyn isn't just a powerhouse in combat; she also brings valuable support to her team.

Evelyn’s Quick Assist is Rapid Replacement. A rapid support action that involves swiftly assisting or switching to an ally, providing a beneficial effect. This can improve ally performance, deal supportive damage, or enable a combo.

Evelyn’s Evasive Assist is Variation. A support technique allowing Evelyn to alter her attack patterns or provide allies with tactical advantages. This can grant buffs, reposition allies, or open up new attack options.

Evelyn’s Assist Follow-up is Guard Support. Evelyn provides supportive defense, such as a parry or guard stance to help allies. This reduces damage taken by allies, can set up counterattacks, and enhances overall team defense.

Evelyn shines in team-based strategies with her chain attack, enabling coordinated attacks for maximum impact.

Evelyn’s Chain Attack is Sniper Test Shot. A coordinated team attack focusing on a single enemy target. This concentrated damage may require certain conditions or team synergy to activate.

Evelyn’s Ultimate is Sniper Test Shot, 1st Stage. The first stage of a chain-linked sniping attack. It initiates a combo sequence against a target, setting up the next hit.

Evelyn’s Ultimate is Sniper Test Shot, 2nd Stage. The second stage of the sniping combo. It follows up after the first stage to deal additional damage or apply further effects.

Evelyn's core skills enhance her combat effectiveness as you progress.

Evelyn’s Core Skill has levels from level zero to level f. At different levels, Evelyn’s performance improves, increasing damage, utility, or unlocking special effects. From level zero, the basic state with no enhancements, to level f, her fully realized form granting the greatest benefits in damage, speed, or other attributes.

Evelyn’s Additional Ability states that when certain team conditions are met, Evelyn’s offensive or defensive stats increase. For example, if specific roles or characters are present, she gains a twenty five percent damage increase. When more conditions are satisfied, she can receive an additional twenty five percent synergy or stat boost.

Signature W-Engine vs Mindscape Cinema 1:

If you are a free-to-play player, Evelyn's Mindscape Cinema levels might not be your top priority. Instead, focus on upgrading her Signature W-Engine early on. Evelyn’s Signature W-Engine offers more substantial benefits compared to Mindscape Cinema One.

Conclusion:

Whether you're focusing on her versatile basic attacks, powerful Special Attack, or strategic support abilities, Evelyn offers a dynamic playstyle that can adapt to any situation. Remember to optimize her build with the right W-Engines, drive disks, and Bangboo to fully unleash her potential.
